I'm pretty sure I'm going to break these 2 figures lol! I have never reposed a HT figure this often...ever.

If u need to put your 1/4 EB statue u can always raise the shelfs just buy one of those plastic thingy in the picture in home depot and stick it on by double sided tape... pretty simple with a big result . makes your statue looks 10 x better with the proper lighting too..

Can any of u guys compare the HT ETD bruce to any of the enterbay ones quality wise. I have been a huge fan of enterbay and what they have done with the bruce line and I'm on the fence about the HT ETD
Yeah sure, I had ETD version B, WOD, and FOF by enterbay...
All I can say is Enterbay was cool because they were the only ones doing Bruce at the time. Alot has changed - because once you see something better - it's hard to go back to the old ways. When I look at Enterbay stuff now - it's quite funny how those expensive man barbies where at the top. Now having said that - Enterbay still has the nokia version which I'd say is the only comparable to the DX.
Get the DX, you will see what a real Bruce looks like. Forget the star child version (new enterbay GOD) - what nobody is saying is that it's not actually 1/6. It is actually a very small 1/5 - if you don't believe me look the comparison pics.

You captured the perfect facial expression of bruce, with head tilted down and eyes looking up and to the corner. Great job and nice poses!!!

The Hot Toys DX is a great package from top to bottom. But the likeness department suffers, specially on the BD head... The HT Movie Icon Bruce however is probably the best Bruce Lee released till now in terms of likeness. And yes the HT paintjob is till now far superior to Enterbay, however Enterbay's Kato is a STELLAR release and can match up to the DX.Arnie's last Bruce Lee with Enterbay is a great one!
As for the new GoD, there are lots of people who go to the lengths of lambasting it without wanting to see what it looks like. Honestly the GoD's likeness is actually much better than the HT DX. Go to the GoD thread and check the pics of the figure by Rorywan who was one of the first in the boards to get it in hand. Also Liquid Larry's pics of the head are quite good. The only downside of the BD head is that cheap looking blood stain the rest of the head is pretty damn good. Honestly the older BL's from Enterbay dont match upto the HT DX in terms of paint and posability. However in terms of likeness the HT DX cant match upto the old Arnie sculpts from Enter the Dragon onwards...

Thanks guys, the HT package as a whole is great but I collect mostly on likeness which is why I might just get one of the casual bruce's instead. I have enterbay 1/4 etd statue and that thing is freakin amazing, so I doubt I could do much better on likeness alone.

New WOtD would be perfect for me b/c I cannot justify the price tags on the old WOtD sets floating around on the secondary market now.
A few reasons:
a) They don't have the Enter the Dragon license and I can't seem them trying to get it again because...
b) ...they still have the license to Way of the Dragon (that we know of). They have only done 1 figure for this movie. They are already up to 3 figures with GoD and WotD could do with a big deluxe release (2011+ quality, multiple sculpts, Colosseum backdrop etc...)
c) They only recently did Fist of Fury with quite a deluxe package so I don't see them doing it again for a very long time
d) No one does The Big Boss for reasons unexplained...although when you see fan interest both here and on Facebook I guess it makes sense. No matter how much is released, everyone (on both HT and Enterbay) says - more GoD, more EtD, more WotD!!!
...so I'm guessing Big Boss will continue to get no love/That's my thinking anyway....

That would be cool for me as I'm not really into the Enterbay version that was released earlier I like the custom WotD better on ebay better, with the FoF calm head & custom WotD hairpiece (I was told the original WotD hairpiece would not fit the FoF calm head). But it's like $100 for only the head, & I don't think it's even an authenitic EB FoF head sculpt.
