Congrats on the score, not sure what to tell you about the wrinkles, mine came out of the box looking fine. Did the board member you got him from have it boxed up for a long time? Maybe the way it got put in the box? I would think even some wrinkle releaser spray would do the trick.

Yoda's the only bust so far where the bust isn't all poly, at least in the Star Wars 1:1 line. I keep thinking of Grievous in March, how big that one will be, and checking out all the cool parts on his mechanics. These busts are great. I'm so close to having all the ones I want, but sadly, I'm not sure if this line has run it's course.

The sleeves look fine to me. It's not like he would have access to a dry cleaner on Dagobah. ;)

Yoda is one of the busts that has grown on me the longer I've had it. It's definitely one of the best.

He hadn't been opened before I got him... so the fabrics been in the same shape for quite a while. It does seem to be smoothing out a bit on his own... but not as nice looking as Sean's pics.

Well if he's never been opened, he was I think a late 2006 release. that's about 2 years, would certainly cause some wrinkles, but as you're seeing, maybe some freedom from the box will allow them to smooth out natural.

You could try a hand-held steamer, but truthfully with some futzing and tucking it should look fine.

Yoda is one of the best, Maul beats him by a slight margin. :maul

I'm more of a fan of Yoda (I know, I know) so he became the one I wanted. Although, if it wasn't for the great deal I don't think I would have ever gotten one.

I just love walking into my cubicle at work, I've got Yoda, Palpatine and Crumb 1:1 on 3 of the 4 corners, with Grievous to take the 4th :lol, and whenever I look over at Yoda, he makes me feel like I'm Luke in ESB when he's getting the big speech about the Force. "Try not...do, or do not, there is no try."

I wish I could sport something like this at my office... but as a therapist I think it would mess with clients to have an extra set of eyes peering at them :lol

I am. I wasn't impressed when I saw the final product differed from the original prototype, but Yoda was a must have because I loved the character. When I got the bust home and on display, my feelings changed immediately. I love the bust so much. It's my favorite piece in my collection and the last collectible I'd ever consider selling if I ever decide to leave the hobby.

That's how I feel... I actually never intended on getting any of the 1:1 busts, but now that I have this one he's something I wouldn't want to give up.

I think he looks good, just a little dark is all. Really a nice piece that would look good in any collection. He's very much universal in that you don't need to know the film specifics to know who he is. He simply screams Star Wars.

Well, late to the party... but at least I got in.

Got the Yoda Bust from a boardmember today and I love this friggin' thing! First its a lot bigger than I expected, and I didn't realize he was rubbery... I was expecting him to be all polystone. Are the other 1:1 busts like this?

Anyway, incredibly happy with him. One question, what do you do to get his sleeves unwrinkled?

My pics of #110:

With his vintage Kenner counterpart :lol

Great Addition, I love mine!

To get the wrinkles out I set the iron to steam and held it about 2 feet away and just kept pushing the steam button and my wife pulled on the fabric and held it for a few minutes and it worked great.

At the price 1:1 are commanding these days it should be easy not to get anymore :lol

They might be harder to swallow in the current economy, but overall I think the prices are pretty reasonable. Hell, Grievous costs $100 less than Maul and 2 years later. Palpatine the same, and I'd say in terms of production materials, Maul and Palpatine are equals, so Palps ended up a bargain.

They've actually come down in price since the first.

Maul - $600
Greedo - $600
Yoda - $550
Bossk - $500
Palpatine - $500
Grievous - $500

These yoda's look amazing so happy for you all tottally debating on this one but ill pull the trigger soon enough im sure :D
