But "slow", "not enough action", and a "bad villain ending" are things that terrify me. Kind of like what happened with your TDKR.
No it's just been an expression of interest from both parties so far
I believe though contract's not been signed, it's pretty much nailed on Nolan will direct Bond 24. The Broccoli's have met with him and he's the only director on they're list.
We'll have 2 stunning looking bond films back to back then if he uses Pfister again. I love that the franchise is attracting all this high calibre talent now.
Agreed, he deserved a much better ending.
To be honest, the more I think about it, the more dissatisfied I am with the ending.Whilst the movie started off promising, the last 20 mins of the movie (the entire part in Scotland) was unnecessary and quite frankly, didn't make sense at all. They hole up in Bond's abandoned, rundown childhood manor with almost no guns, defenses and no backup. All it took was one missile from a war helicopter and M, Bond and Kincade would've been crispy toast. That's not smart at all.
Also, I was baffled at the stupidity of Kincade after their escape from the manor : You're trying to hide from armed gunmen in the dark, who outnumber and outgun you and what do you do? You shine a FLASH LIGHT IN THE DARK!! Was there not enough light from the burning house to guide your way? Are you trying to get yourself killed?
After thinking about it, this one is a great addition to the franchise but it's in no way 'the best one yet' as critics have been gushing.
So that's a giant gap. I don't need it to be the best ever. Just good.
