Skyfall (aka Bond 23)

Every single James Bond movie has ended with the message "James Bond will return". However, it is normally at the VERY end of the credits when you start seeing the MPAA logos etc.

They put the message before the credits in Skyfall to accompany the 50th Anniversary celebration logo

Yeah, and even the first few had the title of the next one. Like "James Bond will Return in Goldfinger." I don't know when they stopped, but I do know that originally one of them was not the movie they ultimately made next. I think it was supposed to be OHMSS after Thunderball.

Christ is right. Always happy to see that at the end of a Bond movie.

After sleeping on it, I really have to say, it has sank in that I loved this movie even more today.

I really am literally going to count the days until I can marathon this with Casion and Quantum.

I actually feel bad for those not liking it, I remember how disappointed I was after Quantum and I do think its sucky that people didn't get what they wanted out of this movie.

Ahhhhh! I see. tend to stay in the theater for credits more than I did years ago because you never know when they are going to slip in an extra scene post credits.

No wonder I never noticed it before.

Yeah, I stayed til the very end to see if Samuel Jackson was going to cameo. I figure James Bond has to be near the top on Disney's buyout list.

Makes as much sense as Hawkeye or Black Widow I guess.


lemme see.... we have a guy who can change into a massive green monster, a man with a futuristic suit of armor, a God, a chemically created super soldier, oh yeah, and a guy with really good aim.

Anyone up for seeing Quantum and Mr. White in Bond 24? It seems we have Bond set up and established as the character we know him as. Should they try bringing back a SPECTRE-like organization into these films? They did it for CR and QoS. I don't think that's what even hurt QoS as a film so I don't see it as hurting Bond 24.

I'd like some closure on it though. They set it up over two films as this huge threat to the world and it was kind of dismissed in this one.

Yeah I thought Mr.White was a great villain. It was kind of wrapped up in QOS though. Kind of.

I could be mistaken but I thought the actor who played him (Jesper Christenson, I think) had some very unkind and unprofessional things to say about the producers. I can't imagine they are in a hurry to bring him back.

No, it was at the end of the Spy Who Loved Me. It said For Your Eyes Only, when it ended up being Moonraker (to cash in on the Star Wars craze).

I'd love to see David Fincher direct one of these. I wouldn't mind Mendes coming back for another one too.

I would feel like, 'Well, actually there are people who really want to see it.'"

"But I feel like I've put everything I want to do with a Bond movie into this Bond movie. I would have to feel the same again to do another one. So, it would take a lot of thought to try and make it as special to me as this. I'm knackered, but I've loved it."

Craig also wants him back.

“If Sam were to do the next one, which would be great, we have set up an awful lot of ideas and we have still got other things to play around with. I love working with him. He allows me to relax and get on with my job.”

I wouldn't mind seeing Quantum return in the next one.

It makes half assed Amazing Spider-Man look like Manos the Hands of Fate. Actually, it makes it look like Flyin Ryan. Calling it Manos would be an insult to Manos.

I'd love for Sam to return. He did such a brilliant job with everything, that the only person I would want besides him is Martin Campbell.

You forgot the guy with the really good aim, has a John Wayne Bow & Arrow setup. Never has to reload.

I don't ever remember them taking out SPECTRE. Unless you count bond putting the leader down I don't remember what it was called?
