Think we will get a Hot Toys 1/6 version of this Batmobile? They've been pretty consistent with releasing Batmobiles outside the 66 so far.

Would be easier to make. I'm sure a proto will get made, but fan reaction to the movie will determine it's release. Definitely ready for a BatPat 1/6th figure.

Great haircut. He looks like Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 3. :lol

Looking forward to the dance number! :rotfl

He looks a bit pale, like a vampire.

:rotfl

In all fairness... this is looking good. I'm interested now. The costume + cowl head-on looks great. Still looks wonky from the side I think (like he had a bulbous head).

Also that beatdown.... That short clip probably trumped Batfleck's warehouse scene for me. Loving how he is more agile and faster with his moves. Probably doesn't demote as much power to his strikes as Batfleck though.

It's alright, I suppose. I can see myself buying a BatPat, but my main interest in the whole thing is Pattinson himself.
After seeing the Suicide Squad game trailer, I?m really hating the race swap on Gordon here. Deadshot wasn?t black before Will Smith so there wasn?t any reason to make him black in that game - especially after they established him as a White guy in the previous Arkham games.
Yeah, that was a weird thing. Personally, I hate that he's become just anotehr "muh daughter" type of "anti-hero". The Lawton I know was a self-destructive and suicidal depressive. Now he's just an "aaawwww schucks" type updated for the modern anti-hero age, while also being a discount Will Smith.
I fear Gordon?s casting in this will do the same to Gordon.
I don't know about that. The white hait/bushy mustache combo is iconic, as is Barbara as a redhead. They'd be out of their minds to blackwash them in the main continuity.
I haven?t seen a white Nick Fury in anything since the MCU started. There?s whole generations of kids that have no idea Fury looked like an unshaven Reed Richards in an eyepatch before the Ultimates comics and MCU.
Don't even remind me about Nick Fury. He used to be one of my favourites. Strange Tales, Steranko's run, then Hickman's Secret Warriors, the OGNs with Widow and Punisher; all right up my alley. But no, now we have to deal with SLJ Fury. And SLJ is one of those actors I actively loathe. "Look at me, I say mother****er a lot mother****er mother****er mother****er". It gets old quickly. The best acting from him I've seen was in that HBO Film with Tomy Lee Jones, but that wasn't enough. They blackwashed him specifically because Millar wanted SLJ's likeness for Ultimates, and the rest is history. Ultimate Fury wasn't even as interesting as actual Fury.

If they had at least gotten someone like Denzel, or Hell, even Will Smith, someone with natural charisma, it'd have been fine for a one-off. I can see Denzel pulling off Fury. But the problem is that now the actual Fury is literally chained on the moon while his super secret mixed race son, who looks 100% black, is running around like SLJ/1610 Fury, and everyone pretends they've got history with him as if he's actual Fury. The whole thing's ********. Hell, there was a literal one shot where he travels back in time to stop Neo-Nazis from murdering kid Obama!

What hurts the most is that we could've gotten Clooney as Fury, but he read Ennis' stuff instead of the 616 stories and noped the Hell out of the project.
I?m fine with them changing things here and there as one offs, but I hate it when these changes become the new status quo and they forgot about the original looks.
Exactly. I don't have to like an AU, but I can ignore it. All these changes to the main continuities are just...

Honestly, I'm tired. I don't keep up with them anymore. I don't much care. If anything I lament the time spent on such nonsense. Now I buy a figure if it looks cool and it's a character I like, but I'm tired with "pop culture" in all of its aspects.

I just laugh at people calling this Batman emo. The guy lives in a cave with bats, constantly angry, resides in a gothic like city and dresses in black . The dude is the definition of emo .

Pretty much yeah. Also, that hair is pretty 90's though... so fits the time period (if this is indeed the 90s).

Looks damn good IMHO.
It's a different take, and I find that very welcome.

It looks like Batman Begins shot on a CW budget. How is it a different take? At what point was there anything resembling an original idea in this trailer?

Batman shows up in an underlit scene in a goofy rubber suit and beats the **** out of a bad guy and then growls a one-liner in a gravelly voice? Pretty sure I saw that in 1989, 2005, 2016, etc.

The editing when he beats up the guy towards the end of the trailer :hi5:

Also since Batfleck is returning in the Flash movie

Am I to assume this Batman is part of the multiverse in another Earth :dunno

I?ve heard a rumour this is only his prototype suit, and he will get an upgrade later on in the film. Makes sense if this is still the prototype he wears for a year.

Paul Dano's voice as the Riddler sounds great too.

I agree I just hope he isn’t called the riddler always hated that silly name lol

I like the black eyes it makes sense but why is his face fully covered in white makeup.

And his emo is not of the intimidating kind either lol

Well you are not wrong but it is year 2 for him so the BB comparison makes sense.

I do get a Batman 89 / BB narrows vibe from the city that is clearly a set and not a real city.

I get more Daredevil than Gotham though.
