The Boxoffice.com bases theirs off of pre-sales. Not really sure how the Guru gets his info. I just know the writer is big into the box office scene.

Over/underrated are terms that usually don't mean much but stir up plenty of opinions.

So to avoid that, I'll just say I've never liked almost any of his work. The only movie he's done that I actually liked was True Romance, and he only wrote that.

Where I saw The Hobbit last night was a small city. They had two screens showing this and people were coming in buying tickets. I'm sure this happened all over. If those tickets aren't counted then it will be way off.

Gottcha. I'm not sure if I want to do 3D or not. I will probably do the 3D.

BadMoon, I saw it in regular 3D and I liked it. Gave it alot of depth but you're not going to see the gimmicks that some use for 3D, like things flying out at your, etc.
