Lupita would be my first choice for younger Storm.

Even though I’m not too fond of him as an actor, I think Chris Pine could do a more than a serviceable job as Cyclops

Of course they’ll have to make them look a bit younger.

Yeah, I think Lupita (31) may be too old too..

If they want teens/early twenties, I hope they don't get a bunch of ex Disney stars.

Yea I think both of them can pulll off early 20s, look at Andrew Garfield for example. By the end of DOFP I think most of the original team are in their mid to late 40s so it fits.

Well, Lupita looks a lot younger than she really is.

And Pine was my 1st choice for Flash :monkey2 don't steal him from me.

He would be a perfect Flash, Wally right?

But man, at least looks wise, he would make for a perfect live action Cyclops.

These would be my ideal choices for the roles

Cyclops - Liam Hemsworth or Douglas Booth
Jean Grey - Sophie Turner
Storm - Keke Palmer

The lengthy Q&A in the video above features plenty of revealing details about X-Men: Apocalypse and some nagging questions left over from X-Men: Days of Future Past. Below are some highlights, but it's well worth watching in its entirety as a number of other very interesting tidbits are teased by writer and producer Simon Kinberg, including his desire to bring Mr. Sinister to the big screen!

The transcription is an edited down version courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. Let us know your thoughts on everything that's revealed here in the comments section below and in case you didn't know, Bryan Singer was recently confirmed as X-Men: Apocalypse's director, so read more on that here.

There’s a truce of some kind between Charles and Magneto, but there’s a part of Magneto that will always be the Magneto we know from the comics."

How Wolverine will still get his adamantium claws, possibly offscreen: "We don’t see it because he doesn’t pop his claws at the end of the movie [but like with elements of the story] perhaps how he got his claws is different. But he lands ultimately in the same destination."

How Mystique could still be Nightcrawler's mother in this continuity: "Since Azazel was killed, does this mean that Mystique gave birth to Nightcrawler in the time between ‘First Class’ and ‘DOFP’? All I will say is that ten years transpired between ‘First Class’ and ‘DOFP’, so anything is possible. She’s a young woman in her 20s going on 30s… and I will leave it at that."

Magneto is indeed Quicksilver's father: "It is a fascinating relationship. Erik grew up without a family, it’s such a huge part of him, of his mission. So the idea of exploring what it means for Magneto to be a father and reconnect with a son many years after his birth, is fascinating and certainly something that would be interesting to explore in future films."

The "future" characters from X-Men: Days of Future Past won't return in X-Men: Apocalypse: "‘Apocalypse’ really follows the stories of the ‘First Class’ mutants, so in future X-Men films, perhaps, but in ‘Apocalypse’, it’ll really be the younger generations."

Whether an X-Men 4 will ever actually happen: "I’m entirely focused on ‘Apocalypse’ and hopefully the best film in the franchise [but] it would be lovely to work with the original actors again. Perhaps, but right now it’s all ‘Apocalypse’."

We have a small part that she plays in ‘Last Stand’, and we talked about including her in ‘DOFP’ quite seriously actually. There was a version of the script she was in and we even auditioned some actors in Montreal. But we didn’t feel there was enough of a part she would play in a movie that was already full of many, many mutants. She has a cool power. I know Bryan thinks she’s a neat character so there’s certainly a chance she’ll be in an ‘X-Men’ movie some day. Hopefully there’ll be a lot of ‘X-Men’ movies and there’s lot of mutants we’re yet to fully explore onscreen, even if they’ve had cameos before. Now we’re making more films there’s a chance to dig deeper."

So might Scarlet Witch: "When we made ‘DOFP’ there is a reference to her in the scene when they’re at Quicksilver’s house, but we ended up pulling it out because like a lot of things it had to be sacrificed for the main momentum of the film. It’s a character we all love, because everyone loves Quicksilver so much. The more we can do to explore his family, the better. So maybe."

Oh, and thankfully, Cable too: "We also talked about including him in ‘DOFP’. I will say, we love the character, we’d love to find a place for him in these movies, but I cannot confirm or deny which characters will actually be in ‘Apocalypse’ until I read some spoilers!"

I can't believe people are still asking for an X-Men 4. It's clear the purpose of DoFP was to clear the path for the new cast to take over the franchise.

And before Nova trolls this post, I don't think that's a bad thing. :lol

I'm okay with a clean slate.

Lmao "reporting". Kinberg said if he decided to write those characters in they would be recanted younger. There is no news of it being certain. Lol

Classic title readers.

Another report recently stated that Xmen: Apocalypse would finish off the xmen first class trilogy... Now that doesn't mean they are done, but it could be a hint at xforce or a different group of mutants taking the lead.

I just hope Mcavoy and Fassbender continue on with the franchise, Mystique/Jen Lawrence can retire after this movie, and I would much prefer Kelsey Grammar make a return as Beast.

If they do Psylocke, I hope it at least starts out the way the character in the comics did, as a British character. Would be awesome if they could tie in Captain Britain and eventually, Excalibur.

I'm betting it'll be the exact opposite where we'll see Lawrence take Jackman's position as the lead on the franchise given her growing Hollywood status. Then instead of Wolverine sequels, they'll become Mystique sequels.

He's way too old. If they get to the 1990s in the films, then it might make sense because the character would be aged more appropriately. But at that point he couldn't be on a field team anymore.

I forget how old he is sometimes, Hoult is okay as Hank, but his Beast is pretty bland compared to Grammer’s. I hope they find a suitable replacement for him after this movie.

I remember reading she wanted out of the franchise, she’s contractually obligated to do Apocalypse but I can’t see her returning after that, at least I hope she doesn’t :lol

With Fox bringing in Tatum and giving him his own solo movie, I can see him being the next star to carry the franchise along with Mcavoy and Fassbender.

I think Lawrence is good, but overrated. If she got recast as Mystique I wouldn't care much one way or the other. Wolverine is always going to be the focus of the X-Men films, minus a rare aside here or there like First Class. When Jackman leaves, whoever replaces him will bear that responsibility. He is the Spider-Man or Batman of the X-Men. It's always been more about the character than the actor, though Jackman is great in that role.
