I just read the remake for Point Break is coming out Dec. 25th, who is in charge of marketing? Coming out the same month as Star Wars, so crazy

I'm very hopeful that we really will see the production piece soon. I'm thinking of getting this one and selling my DW one. I'm mostly interested in the LED hammer, an updated head sculpt, and the sleeveless look (which looks more "god-like" to me). Also, DW Thor would be my only Avengers figure who isn't from the AoU line, and that would really bug me.

I sold my DW version as soon as I saw this one. I would love to finally see if I made a good decision or not I prefer the silver accents and I agree the light up hammer is awesome. Could not care less about the app thing it comes with! Dying to see the sculpt for sure

I'm pretty sure the moment I see the production head sculpt and I like it, I'm preordering the AoU one and selling my DW one. That light-up hammer is insanely cool.

The silver armor on this looks better than TDW gold, but TDW sculpt has a much better likeness to Hemsworth. If they manage to revise it like they did with Vision, count me in.

In addition, I like how TDW Thor is devoid of the blue undershirt. The undershirt doesn't bother me any, but if I had to select between the two, I'd prefer no undershirt.

I have AoU Thor on pre-order because it looks to be an insanely cool figure; the LED hammer is extremely awesome and I also like the sculpt. However, my LA TDW Thor is my favorite Thor figure and I wouldn't want to part with him. Plus, I like Thor as a character, so I have a Thor line-up accumulated. With the exception of the first Thor, I have every figure of Thor, Cap and Widow.

I'm with you.
Since I love my tdw light armor, I was only planning on getting the sculpt and light up mjolnir.
But, although the new sculpt looks amazing, I see more likeness with the tdw sculpt.
Mine is on a hero pose so I want a closed mouth sculpt.
I hope they tweak it.

So, I am curious to when this will release now, being that he is the last of the "re-tooled" Avengers figures.
Hopefully we will see him by November at the latest!

I'm intrigued to see if there will be a noticeable height difference between this figure and AOU Cap. I love my The Dark World Thor figure but the fact that he's pretty much the same height as AOU Cap bugs me to no end, especially since I swapped Thor's ankle pegs to the longer ones. Thor needs to be taller!

The official specs list for the figures list a one centimeter height difference, so we'll see...

It's the same body as the dw thor


Marvel movies list Thor and Cap as both 6ft4...not the actors..actor height has nothin to do with character height. Yes casting and directors prefer actors who are close to the characters but it's not required. Cap and Thor should be virtually the same height if they are accurate.
