I would suspect one reason that those 3 MCU movie character versions are all portrayed within an inch of each other, give or take, is due to their billing, and their little "triangle". Hawkeye can be smaller, lighter because he is a more secondary character who physically cannot compete with the others..

Kind of like putting Hogan, Luger and Sting in a main event, and having Benoit on the mid card.....

Marvels official site says Cap is 6'2. It's pretty standard procedure to cast actors for their skill and look not exact match to specs of the character.

As for the comment that hot toys makes there faces look like the actors and somehow that means the height is reflective...just not the case. They make them look like the actors becuase it's "film accuracy". If in the film the character is portrayed as a certain height or weight or strength. The actor that played fordo or bilbo are not little. The other hobbits as well. Five or six different actors played Superman but the character is stilled portrayed as the same. As I said before, actors height is mostly irrelavent. There's a thousand tricks to make actors look taller or shorter on film that are used all the time. And that's without CG effects. Although, with Thor being as slightly arrogant as he is, he may think in his mind that his name would be on a 2 liter bottle compared to the rest. You know, since he considers himself "mighty" and all.

Yeah same. I'd be willing to upgrade my LA Thor to this if the likeness is better. Hope we get a look at a revised sculpt soon... They did the same thing with Vision so it is possible.

If anything I'd like to have this head for my DW Thor. The open mouth sculpt works very well for my current flight pose. But this head would be awesome for standing poses.

That's my problem now... I use museum poses and have Thor next to AoU Cap and Mk3. Looks a little odd with his mouth open.

My problem will be more IF I do go ahead and get this version, I want him in a more creative pose with the rest of the Avengers (but he has exposed arms, grr..) , as for my sleeved TDW Thor I haven't really decided, but if I have both he will be with Loki so his pose will probably be simpler...

Currently sleeved TDW is based around a fairly popular pose of his right arm back with hammer of doom, and left arm forward with open palm flatish and stretched..

I'm very hopeful that we really will see the production piece soon. I'm thinking of getting this one and selling my DW one. I'm mostly interested in the LED hammer, an updated head sculpt, and the sleeveless look (which looks more "god-like" to me). Also, DW Thor would be my only Avengers figure who isn't from the AoU line, and that would really bug me.

The led hammer is a neat feature. Looks great I think.

I don't yet own a Thor and I'm seriously considering picking this one up. I love the sleeveless look (not a fan of the undershirt, but oh well) and the closed-mouth sculpt looks even better to me than the Dark World version.
