I just tried the AOU Thor head on a TTM20, and the neck is too wide. Even with that plastic joint inside the neck removed(That clasps the neck ball joint), the Thor head will not fit.
At least, without mods, that is.

As an aside, does anyone know of a Mjolnir that is close to 1/6, but not made of metal like the HT one?
Ideally, a light plastic or resin would be handy. That HT one weighs too much, lol.

I was just talking about a body swap. At least that's what he was asking I thought. And all the arnie body's can accept the armor. You usually, at the least, have to swap the neck joints as well. Sometimes you gotta mix and match. But the body is still compatible. I've done bane and used Dutch for an older Thor swap. I've also seen the newer armor swap onto Chris redfield and Barney Ross.

:gah: That's one big reason why I went Sideshow in the end, was I expected PC to be next year. And because mine was a late order, it still hasn't processed...

Murphy's Law. Today's special for PC's 12 Days of Xmas campaign is 15% off Action Figures, and as they have him in stock, he qualifies.. so I could buy him for under $300NZ, but I'm still waiting for Sideshow to ship and I've committed a NRD and $50 of RP..

HT figures are not taking as long to arrive in Australia than they used to. I imagine they once all shipped to SSC in the US and then Sideshow shipped out the orders to the Australian distributor, but now it's coming straight from HK. Unless it's an exclusive you can't buy from anywhere else, I will hardly order from Sideshow anymore. The exchange rate is too great and it's cheaper to buy locally.

Looking great on the shelf with the rest of the gang, now just a MK45 away from the full team :)

Maybe the early armour fits, but i think the newer ones(Avengers, TDW, AOU), are so tight to the body, which is a TTM19 torso), mods would have to be made, meaning the original figure would have a lesser resale value. Many people don't mind doing mods if they can at least revert the original look if they ever tried to sell it. And with the Arnie bodies, as far as i am aware, they all have rubber necks, so it might be a big ask for some people to remove that neck.

Okay. That's fair enough.

Got mine too. Best likeness of him so far and loving him in the cabinet. Sad he may be my only AOU figure but glad it's one that looks so good.
Was unsure of the arms but they work well. Just hope they hold up for a few years until the Ragnarok upgrade.

Finally had the opportunity to snap some better pics with better lighting!

Since WhoaItsJBot asked, I also took a pic of both hammers next to each other. The plastic LED one (on the left) is lighter (in weight and in color), while the regular metal one (on the right) is darker and shinier. I took all these pics with the LED hammer, but before I put Thor back in the shelf I gave him the metal hammer since I think it looks better and more accurate. Also, go figure, the batteries for the LED hammer have already died. :lol

Thanks for the comparison shot, Zack. I actually like the way the plastic one looks, being lighter in color. Just gotta keep that battery compartment hidden.

You're welcome. :duff Also since the plastic one is lighter, it's easier on the joints. Yeah, you'll want to keep the battery compartment hidden, and you'll also want to watch out for the crappy batteries if you want to light it up. :lol I can't believe mine are already dead, since I only turned on the hammer once for a minute or two. :slap
