The user who cried wolf! That's got to an instant internet classic somewhere right?

I stop doing predictions on when this is selling out the moment I realized most people who put in an order for it in Hong Kong got it. That means HT probably planned for a fair large allotment for an exclusive.

What exactly is this selling arrangement different from the one for Coulson? I think SSC is the only place selling it in the US or Canada. I don't see BBTS have it or any of the usual suspects. The only difference is that this was announced at a Toy Fair and Coulson was not? Coulson took quite a while to sell out, right? May be Hill will be the same as well...*early order suckers* (wait, that includes me) For all I know they could have called this a SSC exclusive and it would just work the same as how they sold Coulson...

Doesn't everything?

It will funnel through like BR Joker 2.0, Colton and every other under performing piece. The vendors that purchase product from Sideshow will get an allotment if they choose to purchase. Gotta move product somehow, so Sideshow has to decide if they want to keep and discount the hell out of it or make certain margin from passing it on to the distributors and let them sell off the excess units.

Had Coulson not sold as well it would have flowed through just like the others, though he was probably a significantly smaller volume produced at that time years ago. It was only a matter of time for it to sell out. The only thing right now selling out (most of the time) are exclusive iron mans (Hot Rod, Python,Midas, Stealth VII). Sideshow will keep the iron man exclusives cause they know eventually those will sell off with a minor coupon or reward points (Peacemaker, Tank).

I was thinking about that this weekend as well...fingers (or arms) crossed...

The have it in that pose in the promo pics, or one of the pics I saw anyway, so at least they are aware it's a pose that is important to the character. And when there's a pose like that they usually try to get the figure to achieve it some how. The methods are not always liked but at least they try. Hulk smash, power punch mk3 and so on.

They showed Selina Kyle kneeling down in the promo pix but that's not something the figure can really do easily...and it doesn't look the same when you try it...*sigh*
