Really Hot Toys ?!
Just "lol"...

Hot Toys must have a mole here in the forums listening to complaints about the announcement pics.

Its good because that means they can still fix things.

Price is out in Singapore. The official Hot Toys retailer - Action City has it for SGD $432. This is nuts.

Madness. I wouldn't pay more than $350 for this.

That's about what its gonna come out to in USD.

Anyone else think this armor resembles the muscular tissue of the human body? Also are the flames reused pieces from the IM Bones figure?

Looking through all the pics, there is a bulk to the figure. The film version was so sleek and agile, from some angles the figure reminds me of the 1/6 Silver Centurion armor. I'm sure HT will pull an Arkham City and tweak it to perfection. Eventually we'll have sounds built in like RoboCop, something I'm surprised they haven't done already. It'd be hilarious to hear Friday's Irish accent coming from a figure.

While I wouldn't mind that extra feature, I'm not sure it would be used that much by the majority............
Silver Centurion? Spot on :hi5: It does resemble that a little bit, which is good because I liked that armor......

Those more recent photos look more like it, guess the best thing to do is to sit back, relax and wait for photos from Secret Base once it goes on display as right now we don't know which set have been colour corrected, they could both have been with the earlier photos becoming too bright and the second set darker... I have my fingers crossed that it is about right as it looks great on the more recent pictures.

Silver Centurion is a great figure but other than looking a similar darker shade of red it is nowhere near as bulky looking.

It may not look quite as slender as in the film, more like the concept art (odds on is what it was based on) which isn't necessarily a bad thing, one common complaint about Iron Man figures is they don't look like a man could fit inside the suit until recently and that is in part due to the design of the screen used models; for example I love the Mark VI but its waist is way too narrow both on screen and on every figure I have seen.

I have seen more than one person across a number of forums say they doubted Tony would fit in the 45 especially the helmet; this looks much more in proportion, as well as being muscular but not OTT just as an Iron Man suit should look.

Personal opinions only, your eyes may see things differently to mine and I respect that... I am thinking my next and last PO from this line will be this suit (bringing my total to 2 Stark's, 1 Rogers and a Barton in a pear tree) before moving onto Ant Man and Civil War.

Usually a Stark sculpt is the icing on the cake, here I don't mind. Because I know we'll be overdosing on awesomeness at SDCC.

Not crazy about it. I do however like that it comes with the blast effects and the lasers. Toy biz did it years ago with marvel legends. They add alot to posing and display options. I know the mark 1 2.0 and bones has it but i hope all iron men come with them from now on.
