I didn't need to see a full Hulkbuster suit-up. His foot stomping the pavement was a cool intro even if it was an exact copy of Rhino's intro last summer. :lol

Actually, that was a cool intro to the HB.

Most definitely ... though in hindsight I wish they had not shown it in the first trailer or I could've just avoided the first trailer altogether because it would've been better had I seen that for the first time in the theater.

I actually avoided ALL of the trailers and teasers.
I knew I wanted to see the movie and they were putting out so many trailers and teasers I felt like it'd spoil half the movie.

I envy your restraint. I was foaming at the mouth to see anything from AOU so I couldn't help it ha

After the third trailer I was set, then they started showing all these damn TV spots and sneak peak scenes that I began to avoid like the plague.

Glad I didn't watch the scene shown at the MTV awards which was the Hulkbuster fight up to the point where they share that sonic boom punch. Crazy that much was shown.

That made a lot more sense to me. We saw that he clearly needed a new armor after the helicarrier incident. Tony being Tony he always has something new up his sleeve. I thought that armor intro was very well handled.

It's not like we ever see Mk IV V or VI developed at all ... they just sort of show up.

Go back and watch IM2 if you dare, lol.
The scene after he checks his blood toxicity and is talking with Pepper in his garage, they walk past a CNC machine that is making something, and on the screen is a graphic of the MKVI.

I can always just fast forward to that part ha Thanks. I never noticed.

It's a details thing. He also walks through a HOA of holograms on the floor, and one is the MKV suitcase armour(And is called such, but displayed in reverse so Tony could see it), and he "closes the case", and pushes it to one side.
Another small detail is that inbetween IM and IM2 he has had the entire garage wired for holograms, and the emitters are in the floor. The floor is slick black tiles with projectors at every tile intersection.

I suppose I'll have to watch it again sometime ... though it's admittely not among my favorites ha

I too wish I had avoided all trailers prior to seeing the movie. Unfortunately, they just give away too much cool stuff that I would rather experience for the first time as part of the movie, not in a trailer ahead of it.

The worst IMO had to be giving away the "after-party" scene that led to Ultron Mk 1. Seriously? It was such an amazing scene. I hoped that maybe it would be different, or that the movie would've brought something "more" to that scene, but my god, the trailer used all of it. I sat in the theatre thinking it would've been so cool to be seeing this for the first time. But hey, my fault for watching the trailer I suppose...
