So far the 1:1 and the 1/6 look the same i love the 1/4 wish they could update the 1/6 more like it

The metallic paintjob gives it the edge. Just shows how bad the overly glossy clear coat looks on IM figures. Even makes the 1/1 scale look cheap.

Hope they apply the paintjob done on the 1/4 figures to all future IM figures.

The paint app is amazing on the 1/4. Gives it a metallic/iridescent/tarnished look all at once. Hope the 1/6 turns out like that.

I'm still on the fence. I want a classic looking IM for my Avengers line up and I'm undecided. This, the 43, upcoming 9 or get a 7 from somewhere (or hold out for a 7 DC).

If you want an Avengers IM right now, I'd recommend the 43. If you don't mind waiting until next summer, wait for the 45. If you don't mind paying a rather large price on eBay for a plastic figure, go for the 7 (I got my 7 for around $340). I'm almost certain a diecast 7 is coming, but it could be one, two, or even three years away. I think all three armors are awesome, but any of them would look great in your collection!

Thanks for the advice I'm in no hurry for it but I do need to be able to flex pay for it. The 43 from SS is just about manageable in two payments but I am tempted to wait for a DC7 - They have to make it!

I really wanted to wait for a DC Mark 7 as well, but I lost patience rather quickly and just bought the original plastic one, which still looks fantastic in my opinion.

But, if you don't mind waiting for something that isn't guaranteed (even though it's very likely to happen), the diecast 7 is sure to look amazing too!
