Might have been something for one of the shows like the life size hulk, hulkbuster, ultron at the current one.
Really? I have always thought of the 7 as a departure of the evolution from the Mark 2 to 6 (with 4 and 6 being very similar suits)... can still see the evolution but there's a jump between the 6 and 7 in proportions.Gotcha. I find that interesting b/c the Mk 7 design is very similar to the Mk 4 suit which is one of the most iconic figures in the entire Iron Man line. Do you dislike the Mk 4 as well?
Yeh I wish they had upgraded that with Python, it's arms do seem really weedy compared to the rather butch looking legs! What I never liked about the Mk 7 figure was the skinny elbows, like how does he even fit his arm in there?. Yeah, also the elbow being rubber, im glad they switch to plastic with the new armors.
I think that surprises everyone, but I've just never liked the thing. I started warming up to the Hot Toys figure because of the sheer volume of stuff it comes with and the air brakes, but overall I don't care for the design. Oddly enough I do really like the Midas version, though. It seems to work really well in those colours.
It's a safe bet that Bandai had access to 3D data from Marvel for making their Mk 45, they did with the Mk 42 - so on that basis what you see there is, more or less, what the actual suit should look like. Obviously take into account they probably changed some parts for articulation purposes, but the outline is there. Agree on the colouring, that deep red/gold is classic Iron Man. Nice return to form after the explosion in a paint factory that was the House Party suits.
Maybe it's just me but the Mark 45, at least this Bandai version reminds me of the human muscular system, with the silver and gold being the fat and cartilage. Lol!
Interesting take. Gotta say, I'd be cool having that as my body. Lol
I got hurt on active duty (broke my back and a few other parts) so I got WAY out of shape from that. Lol went years without being able to do much. Thanks for your service BtWYeah me too! I'm a little out of shape now that I'm retired from active duty!

Tough break. (No pun intended) But glad to see you guys get back up and are okay again, not many are that lucky. Most people do not understand serving and i even hated it at times during my 2 years but by golly it meant something.I got hurt on active duty (broke my back and a few other parts) so I got WAY out of shape from that. Same... I think there are 3 figures they may wait and unveil a day or so after the opening weekend; The Mark 45, Vision and a final form Ultron (if there is to be another).Just going to say that I hope this gets announced soon after the movie is out and I pray to Odin that it will be plastic.
I feel the same, I like that the 2 I have one is in a flight pose which I can't do with a DC and 2 of the current preorders I have incoming will be restricted to ground poses.Diecast is cool and all. It's nice to feel the extra heft the figure has but it doesn't add anything as far as shelf presence goes. And of course, I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks ha you?
