1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 45

I came here looking for toys and got a physics and film editing debate. I love the internet. Anywho, I really like this suit. I don't have an Iron Man yet, so if this is plastic, it might be my first.

Yeah, opened 2 or 3 threads that were derailed with drama going on in them last night and it's still going on today.

Take that to the DC figures section where it belongs ladies.

Really interesting how in the artbook they talk about taking the 42-43's design a step further by making it more anatomically-inclined. They describe the 45 as a "wearable Ferrari" while being blatantly organic in design. Don't know if this will get a redux for Civil War (similar to the 42-43 suits) but you can almost say that this is Tony's answer to Ultron, what with the body/neck design resembling human musculature more than his past suits.

So 45 is the only main armor where we didn't see any suit up/eject, not even an open face...for now? I can totally see HT will release this without a RDJ HS...

There's not much they can release it with apart from extra sets of hands. I wonder if they'll include a busted up sentry like they did with the 1/4 Mk43.

We did see him transform back to Banner...that's close enough for me...They didn't show a suit up for Mark VI in IM2, but at least there was an open face. They finally show the Mark VI suit removal in The Avengers...

or are planning a DX release that comes with Visions Cradle, and Infinity Gauntlet for Thanos, Broken Cap Shield, Battle damaged Ultimate Ultron Body with removable core, Tony Stark figure with MK43 gauntlet and Scepter, extra MK43 arm with the wrist rocket and a Vibranium structure base with rocky ground

I sure hope so. Although, I'll get it regardless.

I'm in for them all at this point, just hope it doesn't look too cheesey. I think using red chrome paint might help mimic the on screen bling of the suit.

Wow. I hadn't noticed that about falcon. Cool. And I think they might have just not had war machine because he's almost full cgi. I don't think they used mo-cap for war machine or MK45.

I'm hoping for a living Ultimate Ultron before we get a dead one.

(although that whole set sounds like a good idea. It'll only cost like maybe 5-6 thousand bucks)

Consider how bad Mark V turned out...I don't really have high hopes for getting the sheen right. But hopefully, things have changed...
