It's a nice looking but I don't have spare $415 for this. I have to complete the Avengers first & I need to find out how much the HB will be.

the head sculpt, costum detail and the throne sculpt is amazing. also the size of the figure also justify a higher price.
but i considered the skirt rubber endurance concern, and feet unable to lay flat on the ground a major design flaw.
in HK, the price is $2590, which is around the hulk price range. the price seems fair. however, as far as i know, not
too many people has made PO as of today. mostly complain the lack of gauntlet and also space to display it.
ps. i would not consider the gauntlet factor as there is no such thing in the movie GoTG.

Those feet on the base....jeeez. I would have him standing in my display rather than sitting in his recliner with his feet on the ottoman.

Yeah, this is going to be a peg warmer. Wait until spook and get it with 20% off, with double rewards and free shipping. Even the, it might not be worth it. Right now, this is just a money waster.

I'm really digging this figure, especially the head sculpt. I'm happy I preordered it. Maybe it will come out earlier since, apparently, nobody is buying it.

Gotta say that I'm not a big fan of the way he can't get his feet flat on the base. Actually, I'm not sure if he can't, or they just don't bend they feet straighter to hide the ball joint. In some pics you can see the ball joint peeking thru when the feet are posed further down. Whatever the case, they could have made either swap out feet, or swap out legs (maybe from the knee down) to achieve the pose better
This is definitely a tough call. The sculpt and figure overall look fantastic, but possible damage from prolonged sitting kind of defeats the purpose of this version

While I don't think the price is outrageous, HT could've/should've done a better job with those feet. Maybe HT addresses it, maybe not. But at the moment, he looks like some dude getting ready to watch the Super Bowl. Not like this.
And until the issue becomes moot, people have a reason to worry about HT rubber. The quality is mostly crap.

Put it this way, this is the only version of thanos that will have the throne, hence the price. The infinity wars version will have the gauntlet and whatever accessories they decide to throw in.

Do you mean the feet not being flush with the stone... you could file down the plastic column to lower it

dont think so, HT personnel would have made it already should the thanos sitting pose in the film can be replicated precisely.
on both occasions, at the toy soul and now at the secret base. the feet do not lay flat at the base.
they are posing experts who did the display setup job, chances are very slim that they are just too casual to get it right.

I think the problem is partly with the seat part of the throne. It sticks out to far against the back if his knees so they can't pose straight down.
They also should use some cloth for the tunic bottom, that rubber isn't gonna be in good shape if he sits for long.

Agreed... it's amazing how many people KNOW so much about a figure that is still a prototype.

Do we actually know if his tunic is made of rubber or some sort of soft plastic?
Anyway yeah I agree with a number of folks here, in that I find that the main issue is how his feet is sticking in the sitting position when they shouldn't be.
