Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I'm not talking the displays and photos taken by con goers..I am asking about actually hot toys released info. With their photos and details. Prices maybe. I've seen photos done by the average joe.

Not Yet, it could be soon though..... it looked like a finished figure at Toy Soul

Perhaps, but they are still calling a prototype, however I doubt we'd notice anything different with the final release. I would be quite curious if this comes with any accessories at all or even a display stand. Monger did come with a couple so it's possible HB will come with maybe a Mark 43 head that fits inside maybe.

yeah it will be light on extras for sure, it might however have swappable attachments for the things on the gauntlets..... they are shown in the trailer, I don't know what they are called

Now that we've finally seen it, I can't wait to see it in some action poses.

And see that damn price tag...

I don't know if HB/Hulk do it in the movie, but I'd really like to have them locking hands like in the concept art. For some reason I have a feeling HB won't be that flexible.

More than likely we're all getting super excited for an armor that will probably have the same amount of screen time as Rhino in AS2.

Do you really think Josh and marvel are that stupid, they haven't made a film anywhere near as disappointing as tasm2, I think they want to and know they have to deliver on hulkbuster.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I suspect there will be a 2-3 minute battle between Hulk and HB, and that will be all that we see of it in the movie.

Then maybe we'll see Ultron tear it to pieces. Chew on that. ;)

For some reason I'm still having a hard time trying to commit to this figure, even though I initially thought it would be a must buy. There's SO MUCH going on with the design and the sheer size of it, just so overwhelming for me.....

The only thing that'll tip the scales for me now is to see what degree of articulation we'll get which I'm hoping is more than just hips and shoulders

If there was, there'd be a thread about it. Probably created by Hologram. :lol

There may also be an initial scene where we see the Hulkbuster suit before it's put into action. :)

As much as HT would LOVE to charge $1,000 for this it won't be that much. You can relate the larger vehicles they have produced as comparable manufacturing and costs. The tumbler and the 89 batmobile are large items with design and panel processing. The 89 cockpit was highly detailed and both batmobiles have lighting features (cheaply made though). The delorean is much more detailed than either of the batmobiles and is coming in under $700. $749.99 would be the most expensive thing they ever sold for the marvel/dc type collectibles. Thatis 50% more than Igor in price just to qualify that.

While I don't think this will be $500, it will be closer to that than $1,000 not including shipping when we get a preorder release me thinks.

Believe me when I say that I hope you are correct and I'm wide of the mark, however this appears to have way more detail and articulation than what I've seen in the past, and that makes me think $1000+.

The Mark XXXVIII Igor Heavy lifting Iron Man (that i hope arrives next month!) which retails for $510 plus tax looks like it came free with a McDonald's Happy Meal in comparison. Crossing my fingers that your estimate is closer to the reality.:)
