Budget Stark on FB

Information from an insider has stated that the height of the HULKBUSTER will be 22 inches / 56cm.

Pre-order dates or release has not be confirmed yet, but indications seem to be likely to be released in HK around Q3/ Q4 2016.

2 YEARS :impatient: :lol

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

thats bull....... I can't wait 2yrs for this. Chances of accidental death is once in every 2700 years.... so I could die having never held Hulkbuster in the next 2 years(and any 2698 after that, but thats not the point)

If I die once every 2700 years I'll be cool

As for the q3-q4 2016...not sure that's gonna be. I know they want to get this line (AoU) as close to the movie as possible. And I don't think showing this thing this early would be smart if that's the plan. It may happen due to issues, but i doubt it's the plan.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Monger took 16 months from reveal to release.

Different time. I don't think monger was revealed seven months before the movie released.

Hot toys has been wanting to get releases and reveals done before the movies hit theaters for awhile. But the studios have been fighting it. They got the studio to allow a reveal after the characters are revealed by the studio either in promo material or trailers or whatnot. That's why no ultron and vision yet. The next trailer was going to be in the hobbit but they bumped it back a bit.

This movie is their test case to see if accelerated releases to coincide with theatrical and Disc releases will increase or decrease sales. Or not matter. It's free advertising basically, for hot toys. Makes sense they would want the figures available when intrest is at its peak.

no its a drag trust me......

I'm not at all surprised if that timeline comes to fruition. The PO would not be available until after the movie release, and then start shipping the year after. Q3-Q4 may be more of a stretch, but I can definitely see a 2016 release for it.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I wouldn't be too shocked if it took until Summer/Fall 2016 for this. They are HUGE and will take A LOT of paint and time.

My Sideshow 1/1 Iron Man Mark VII bust took 26 months from pre-order to arrival at my house!

The longer it takes for the Pre-Order the better. I recently spent some of my Sideshow rewards points but I still have about 4000 with another 4000 pending. That could definitely soften the blow of the purchase price.:)

Nice thats $400 off I think.... I'm not sure how many points I'll have in 2016 but by OCT 2015 I will have 13000 which gives me $650 off(I think), which might get me the figure :lol

Yeah that's true and many people will have forgotten about hulkbuster and age of ultron by the time this figure is released. So is it really worth getting considering what may be coming down the pipeline from ht and marvel? Also I wouldn't pay more then $700 for the figure.

That's a nice amount of points there! I used 4000 points towards the Batman 89 1/4 scale so that was points well spent right there. I bought my legendary scale IM Mark III and my 1/1 Mark VII Bust and a few other things from Comics Infinity, so I didn't get points for those but you get 10% off if I remember at CI so I can't complain. Oh and also no tax on those bad boys!

Update on my light up riser for my Mark VII LS: I should have it finished tomorrow, so Christmas Eve hopefully I can unpack the Mark VII and display it next to the III.

You are probably right nobody will remember this movie in couple years or want anything from it. I wish i could remember the name of the movie that came out about 7 years ago, it has the MKIII in it that i have on PO. :lol

Yea. I mean it's not like people buy figures and collectibles from movies that are a few years old or older. I mean it was a fluke that Hans Blaster just went for 650k, and Dorothy's red slippers from Wizard of Oz went for over a million dollars...and then of course there is figures...no one builds, buys, or remembers things from Predator with Arnold or Commando...or The 1966 Batman or 89 Batman..or even 2000s xmen or 2008 iron man. But your probably right...who's gonna remember some little indie film like AoU.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I'm stoked about the Arnie Commando figure. I mean, all the characters of the 80's they could have chosen to add to all the Terminator figures, and they picked my favorite guilty pleasure movie. I'd have picked Conan, Predator, even The Running Man to hit the shelf before Commando..

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Wow, two years seems a little long for this considering they revealed it just a few days ago. Not sure why HT would even show it so soon if it is so far off. Hopefully this ships late 2015 or at least goes up for pre order soon. Would be nice to have one year of payment plans and then have this ship.
