Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Wow, two years seems a little long for this considering they revealed it just a few days ago. Not sure why HT would even show it so soon if it is so far off. Hopefully this ships late 2015 or at least goes up for pre order soon. Would be nice to have one year of payment plans and then have this ship.

...see Igor, Starboost, Heartbreaker. Well over a year on those I believe

The wait for this will be long and painful then. At least it gives people time to save up.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

BTTF DeLorean is 2nd Qtr 2016, so i would not be surprised at all if this is 2nd or 3rd Qtr of 2016. My 89 Batmobile was 16 months from PO till it shipped.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

the longer time it takes to complete is something good for us as well, we can have time to funding and HT also can maintain the QC.

thats true..... if thats the case at least it takes the sting out of paying a huge amount when also trying to pay for other AOU figures

Yep, I've had Heartbreaker on preorder for 13 months, that's about the average for all of my preorders & what I've come to expect unless there's an event exclusive, if Hulkbuster goes up for preorder now we'll not see it till early 2016 at the earliest.

Haha like by that time you won't have the costs of a half-dozen figures from each of the NEXT Marvel films as well.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I feel like Silver Centurion and Light Armor Thor were also a year or more from PO to ship. It seems to be the norm in a lot of cases. Consider the cost for this one, I'm not surprised and I'm totally not arguing it either. The less of a monthly payment I can make, the less my wife complains!

well Ant-Man, Captain America Civil War and Doctor Strange are all coming out in 2016. Yeah it might get pretty crazy :lol

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Yea. I mean it's not like people buy figures and collectibles from movies that are a few years old or older. I mean it was a fluke that Hans Blaster just went for 650k, and Dorothy's red slippers from Wizard of Oz went for over a million dollars...and then of course there is figures...no one builds, buys, or remembers things from Predator with Arnold or Commando...or The 1966 Batman or 89 Batman..or even 2000s xmen or 2008 iron man. But your probably right...who's gonna remember some little indie film like AoU.

I think it was sarcasm! :lol.

:lol. Exactly... But those will be 2017+ release dates! :)

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I wonder how they will do Ant-Man, if they release like a 2ft figure that comes with an exclusive 2 inch Wasp. That would be cool.

I don't think Wasp is set to appear :dunno. They will most likely do a normal Ant-man with a smaller EX

I'm certain, just based solely on my own gut feeling, that Hope will be some kind of Wasp in the movie. She's got to be, right? RIGHT?!

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

it'd be pointless, your gonna spend over $300 for a figure that will be hidden inside a thousand dollar item? Ht will keep the cost down by not doing that.

What do people do with their Tumblers and 89 Batmobile's? They put their figures in them right?

It all depends on how memorable the film is. I mean who remembers spiderman 2 released in 2004 or wants figures from it with the newer releases of amazing spider man.
