And he'll be four or five inches SHORTER than HB...think about it. :lol

Well if IGOR looks particularly impressive in stature when I get it then HB is just going to be EPIC! What do you bet IGOR's release gets pushed off lol!

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I'd love to buy 20 or 30 detolfs & house my collectibles in those, what fits stays, what doesn't goes..., I've gone from a 3 bedroom house to 1 room, when I had a whole house for my collection it looked far better than it does now, plus it was all displayed too (unlike now), I think I'll probably wait until I get my own place again next year & see what I want to part with once I set everything up then.

That's the mentality I have now. Going to a one figure per shelf rule. Whatever I love gets displayed, the rest better mean the world to me or it is on the chopping block.

Took some time to realize what I wanted to collect. You will feel much better after purging collectibles. Helps you zero in on want you really like and want to collect.

:exactly: I've have seen to many display cases so full you could not even see half of the figures and (imo) it just looked really bad, like a HT episode of hoarders.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I actually like the 2-3 figure per shelf look. I think there is a lot of wasted space when it's just the one figure on the shelf; unless it has a lot of accessories like Stark Workshop or Joker interrogation.

For the HB, I already have a spot on my desk that is now being used by the Imperial Shuttle. I'll just put that back in storage and let HB take over.

Any new pics of this figure? The convo's the last few pages have been coma-inducing. Yeesh.

Agreed, as a small time collector, I am sticking to a 1 per character rule as best I can, and will never go above 2 detolfs. The amount of money a collection of detolf after detolf with 3 figures on each shelf scares me.

Going from having one awesome Captain or one awesome Iron Man, to Marks 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and so on, with every Captain America released ruins the impact for me, the detail and impact gets lost in the crowd.

But hey just my opinion, each to their own and all :D

As with all hot toys you want something that looks awesome and great like hb but soon after something even more spectacular is released. I always find its just when I think I've finally gotten all I need and needs no more that ht comes out with something even more spectacular to change my mind. I think hb may finally be the model that breaks the mold though just because of its sheer presence and size.

So, I found this image of HB on Collider.com HERE (also has nice pics of BW, Ultron & Vision). Interesting to see how Mark XLIII scales/fits inside.

yeah they were posted a while back in this thread I believe and in the movie thread.
Well we knew the MK43 fitted into the Hulkbuster but it does give you at least some idea of scale since most of our height assumptions have been guesses, so thats good

Yeah, I just saw it in the AoU thread. I also found this image on Collider (I'm guessing it's already been posted also). I can't tell if the artwork in the attached image exaggerates the size of HB or not. If it's accurate, I could see Hot Toy's HB being easily 24", but the Toy Soul 2014 image makes me think it's more around 22". Can't wait to see some actual comparison photos of HB so we can get a more accurate measurement.

^That's the way I would like to display Hulk/HB when I get them... I hope HB actually has that much articulation, but I fear it won't.

Why are people still speculating about the height of Hulk Busted when it has been posted that is it 22" tall?

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Yeah, probably not. We'll get the arms and legs to move forward and back and the head to twist from side to side...a bit. And we might get an ever-so-slight ab crunch. :lol

I believe because hot toys has yet to officially announce the height. And no one has gotten next to it and taken a photo with a ruler. So it's speculation to the height.

Hulkbusters best movement will be the 'savings account smash' for most ;)

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I haven't bought an HT Iron Man since the Mark VI but I might have to get this one. I think it'll look great on the shelves only I really hope it isn't Diecast. It is going to cost enough as is.
