I haven't bought an HT Iron Man since the Mark VI but I might have to get this one. I think it'll look great on the shelves only I really hope it isn't Diecast. It is going to cost enough as is.

It won't. And it won't have anywhere near the amount of articulation in that Hulk vs HB picture. My experience is these figures look awkward in any attempt to make them 'interact' with one another. They're best off in hero poses of one kind or another, as opposed to battling or whatnot, IMO.

So this isn't something official from Hot Toys?

I think the Hulkbuster is 11 feet tall so 22 inches would be perfect at 1/6

I believe because hot toys has yet to officially announce the height. And no one has gotten next to it and taken a photo with a ruler. So it's speculation to the height.

Pointless going off the 1:1 scale...it felt seriously undersized IMHO. 1:6 looks good though with the existing HT Hulk. I would've like 24" for sheer display awesomeness, but i'm not complaining.

Not official from hot toys. Is your hawkeye and hulk and every other figure exactly 1/6 scale based on that image? I've got three thor figures and they are all a little different in height.

Edit-there would have to be a full inch in size difference between hawkeye and thor and 1.2 inches between iron man and Hawkeye. In 1/6 scale based off that image. Every wolverine and Cap figure should be exactly the same height. (Every cap to cap not cap and Logan the same)They are not.

Hulk would need to be over 6 inches taller then hawkeye. Like 18.6 I think to be 1/6 scale based on that drawing.

The point is, very rarely are these figures exactly 1/6 scale. How could they be when most share a torso. Until someone actually muesures the HB production piece it's pure speculation.

I was supposed to have five figures delivered this month before everything was delayed three months, it would have been a ton of points! Hopefully this doesn't go up for order before June so they'll have time to show up to my account

I wonder if Hot Toys will use a half Iron Man reveal to reduce cost, or if they'll go full figure-in-figure. Personally I'd be fine with a head, upper torso and half arms. It would just sit in there anyway.

Waiting to see a WIP of this guy. Vision is my 2nd most anticipated figure out of the lot after HB and in front of Cap.

Yeah, it'd be a waste of the 43 if you had to buy that to put in the Hulkbuster. If I were getting it, I'd just get the HB and pass on the 43.

Good grief take a break. I have discussed figure in figure vs. partial or nothing earlier. This is the first image shown showing a cutaway of how the 43 sits in the HB. So yes that translates into how the figures might be engineered. So don't really get your point.
