Well they showed the bots suiting him up, the real question is how did he take the Mark II from the wallmount, disassemble it to get it into the bot parts, since they work like an assembly line doing one part and piece at a time, to then suit up and get upstairs in a matter of minutes.

That is exactly what I'm saying. How did he disassemble the suit and load it into the bots. And at the air-force base there weren't any bots at all. But I'm willing to suspend reality and just enjoy the movie.

It's an easy answer.....in place of bots he used Day Laborers at both locations........5 laborers for every 2 bots.

the bots are able to disassemble it themselves, and then reassemble it on him? and also, i think it's possible to remove the suit manually (since in the end of the first movie, starks helmet was taken off, and he was able to remove his own armor glove. oh, and mike, when he fought iron monger, he used the original arc reactor, not the mkII arc. go rewatch the movie ;)

He just says Jarvis suit me up, Jarvis can do anything.

Oh that's right. D'oh. Guess I'd better watch Iron Man 1 over again. Now I don't remember the reasoning specific for Arc v2.....either way the basis is that he made a bunch of Arcs and put them into the Marks as well as having them out and about. Rhodey knew where the palladium was so he could have powered the suit without too much of a hassle.

Reasoning behind the Mark II Arc Reactor was he built the first one with a box of scraps, the second time he had the tech to build it to his specifications.

Hmm, well maybe that's not it at all. Maybe the face is just too round, and not long enough? Makes him look like a robot Stewie.

I think the face looks round too here. The side 'cheeks' need to be more pronounced to lessen the wide head look. But I also think it might just be the pic angle.

Does anyone else who saw the movie not remember the the left shoulder rocket launcher look like that?

I remember seeing the 'ex-wife' launcher but it didn't look like that.

I'm fine with it as it looks like the comic version of war machine, but...

the angle of the shot looks like it could be a bit from the top as we see a lot more of the top of the head then in those pomo shots

In my experience, you can take when Hot Toys says is the absolute latest something will come out, and then add three months. They're saying late Q2/early Q3 for this figure; I would imagine Christmas.

thanks for the info. good to hear, gives me more time as i need the $$$ to track down mks I-III!

I guess there are just some things in movies that you have to stop analyzing and to accept and enjoy. I mean how did Rhodey even get into and out of the suit??

My thinking exactly, about the getting into the suit, i mean. If you look when Rhodey was taking the core out of the MKII, you can see that it actually recedes quite deep in the suit. It was designed for Tony, because his RT is embedded inside the chest, where the chestplate would clamp over his chest. So there should have been no way Rhodey would have been able to get into the suit, unless he has a superpower to shift his bones and organs around and compress his chest cavity.

And another thing... i know this is a movie and all, so normal thinking, physics, and biology do not apply, but it gnaws at me. Every time you see Tony with the chestpiece outside his body, you'll see a metal wall inside his chest. And in the first movie, he said that there were wires inside. It's not possible to have a metal cylindrical object so deep inside a person's chest... it goes pass his ribs. From the looks of all his RTs, they go in about a quarter of his chest. Yinsen must have been one hell of a surgeon.

The fact that Rhodey had a security pass and could walk into Tony's studio. And since he got the suit on, maybe Tony had already made accommodations to the suit ahead of time, since he thought he wasn't gonna be around.

It seemed like he was subconsciously setting everyone up so they were ready to replace him.
