My thinking exactly, about the getting into the suit, i mean. If you look when Rhodey was taking the core out of the MKII, you can see that it actually recedes quite deep in the suit. It was designed for Tony, because his RT is embedded inside the chest, where the chestplate would clamp over his chest. So there should have been no way Rhodey would have been able to get into the suit, unless he has a superpower to shift his bones and organs around and compress his chest cavity.

And another thing... i know this is a movie and all, so normal thinking, physics, and biology do not apply, but it gnaws at me. Every time you see Tony with the chestpiece outside his body, you'll see a metal wall inside his chest. And in the first movie, he said that there were wires inside. It's not possible to have a metal cylindrical object so deep inside a person's chest... it goes pass his ribs. From the looks of all his RTs, they go in about a quarter of his chest. Yinsen must have been one hell of a surgeon.

RT, Repulsor Transmiter, is not an Arc Reactor. Rhodey removed the Arc Reactor from Mk.2 not a RT. The suits Tony wore has chest RT (fire repulsor blast), no one wearing suits or drones has fired chest RT yet in the 2 movies (actually only Rhodey in Mk.2 & WM, is equip with RTs, palms and feet. not the chest though). If I remembered correctly, in the first movie, Tony's Chest RT powered up only after the Mk.3 suit was almost completely assembled (Same with Mk.5, the chest RT powered up later).

You'll be surprise how deep a person's sternum can go into the chest, a condition called Pectus excavatum, a person in most cases still lead a normal life.

One thing bother me, Tony always have a lot of chit chat with Jarvis in all suit except mark i as Jarvis helps him in his flight/enemy data/weaponry/suit condition etc. Just wonder did rhodey have Jarvis helps him too or he just controlled mark ii on his own.

And regarding Arc Reactor on mark ii with rhodey, he is a lot skinny than tony stark so I think he somehow can manage to be in that suit.

The fact that Rhodey had a security pass and could walk into Tony's studio. And since he got the suit on, maybe Tony had already made accommodations to the suit ahead of time, since he thought he wasn't gonna be around.

It seemed like he was subconsciously setting everyone up so they were ready to replace him.

That's how I saw it. Rhodey was the one person Stark trusted to wear the suit, too, and he thought he was going to die.

After seeing the movie, I am STOKED to get this figure!

You better hurry up because Marvel is only keeping that scene for the first 5 days of release!

Hmmm... something does seem off about this figure. After seeing the movie I'm more interested in owning this, but looks like it might need a few revisions before being a definite purchase.

The likeness of Cheadle seems especially bad.

You know, I've managed to avoid buying the HT Iron Man stuff (even though I REALLY want it)... but War Machine may break me. I didn't really like the film, but the War Machine design is just AWESOME.

First off, the sculpt aint nothin to brag about, both the cheadle and the WM.

Secondly, he kinda sucked in the movie.

I won't mentioned the yet to be announced ones (like mark V etc), but from the current existing line up, it'd be Mark IV, whiplash, BW and this dude.

Who am I kidding, I'll probably wind up getting most of the Mark's then decide which (if any) sub character's I want. I enjoy War Machine simply because it is such a different look from the other Mark's thus why I hope a Mark V is in the cards.
