Good to see some people getting Fett's appeal. ESB Vader and Fett is the greatest villain pairing in the history of cinema IMO.

It just doesn't get any better than this:

:exactly:Good pic choice too.

I thought Phasma was the brainchild of JJ who liked the idea of a stormtrooper in the colors of the original silver-and-black Kenner packaging? Brilliant way to start a character. The name came from his fascination with the old movie Phantasm. Another brilliant Star Warsian move.

Phasma started and ended in a sea of bad ideas.

I always got the sense that she was a late addition that KK shoehorned in late (i.e., we need a female villain), and for that reason JJ treated her the way he did, as a nuisance that had to be dealt with in terms of added shoots, script re-writes. But the confusing part is it didn't get any better with TLJ (maybe that's not surprising).

Phasma's part in TLJ was indeed horrendous but the crazy thing is it doesn't even crack the top five worst things about the movie. To be honest I don't think it makes the top ten.

I love the look of this figure and have already pre ordered it, but I do think the sculpt is a little slimmer in the face than it should be. Does anyone feel the same?

That would be a fascinating list.
There where so many bad things I am not sure I could pick out just 10.

I would have to include the Hux/Poe 'mum on the phone' as a big one as that took me out of the film before I had adjusted to the cinema screen.

I don't think I ever fully returned :/

Rogue One was the total opposite. The best cinema trip since 1983. Cannot wait to add Krennic to my shelf.

Get Baze out next Hot Toys!

Coming out of hyperspace and seeing all the ships and that X-wing run... Best SW space battle imo.

Yep so true. Also where Blue One takes out that Walker which Baze hits with the bazooka. Brings a smile to my face every time.

Just the X-Wing sounds, the editing and the feel of comradery in that moment. Awesome !

Everyone should check out this supercut ! So good ! The angles, the footage. Definitely best SW space battle. By far !

Yep, the space battle in Rogue One was one of Star Wars's best. I really need to re-watch RO. Been a minute or two.

I have one....great looking figure. Bought solely because of the look. ( as per this discussion)

Boba Fetts fanboyisms os just plane crazy considering his “lack” of achievements. The purchasing power of Boba and by extension Jango , is simply the fanboy fascination with this character , hung over from childhood.

Same for the rest of the bounty hunters. They are there for the scenery, not the plot.

I submit Greedo , Hammerhead, and maybe even Sebulba could sell as well.....

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

In 30 years the people who grew up with Phasma will be claiming she is much better than whatever the new bobba Fett character is...just like the old people are now stridently arguing that Fett was not worthless...

Yep. I was also wondering if there was additional footage added into that super cut.

I don't actually own the blue ray. (Was waiting on 4k). But is there additional footage on that ?

Wow this is the cut!
All the visual segways if the different ship classes getting their shine and when it’s all over that Rebel collision with Vader coming out of hyperspace... so good!!! I remember saying “oh damnnn!” out loud in the theatre right at that moment.
Haven’t seen this before... thanks for sharing!

No... all original footage. I’ve got it on iTunes and have seen it probably damn near 100 times. I didn’t see anything extra :(

Other than a few standout bits and pieces I think the rest of the movie pales in comparison to the Scarif battle. It's thrilling and visually spectacular, reminiscent of the Endor battle but still it's own thing.

:lol

The Endor battle was so hokey -- and anything but spectacular. It seemed, even at the time to a teenager, half assed. You had to have been very young when you first saw this.

RO's climax is as all climaxes should be -- the very best part. And that it is! RO is the Endor battle done right (granted the years and tech are there to achieve it)

Some day you'll come around to RO. Everyone does... or soon will.

I dunno. Granted, I was a kid when I saw ROTJ in theatres, but I don't recall the audience being at all let down by the Ewok/Endor sequence. We all liked the Ewoks, thought the AT/ST and Speederbikes were awesome, and laughed at the appropriate moments. I really do think the anti-Ewok thing occurred many, many years later (even though we knew the subsequent Ewok 'movies' and cartoons were godawful, we understood they were kiddie fluff and treated them accordingly).

And I think the Endor battle worked fine in context, as it's purposefully intercut with the Death Star battle and the Luke/Vader/Emperor showdown. Unlike the Hoth battle, it isn't pitched as the main focus and plays fine as a result.
