I so hope this thing comes up for preorder ASAP. Does anyone know if there’s any correlation between JC Hong releasing his Instagram headsculpt/painting pics and the next figure to go up for preorder? I would like to think Maul will be soon.

Awesome! Open mouth sculpt! I’ll get this and have both Mauls. SSC in robes on speeder and HT Maul open mouth in action pose I think.
...but prefer the SSC sculpt. Just saying. [emoji51]
Edit: ...I can’t help feeling that I/we might get a little disappointed with this DX. I mean the pleated sleeves (wtf?), the tattoo lines, the boots look like they have very little articulation, lack of likeness... I dunno. Hope I’m wrong as I can’t help jumping on it.

This is awesome DX goodness !!

Second headsculpt is great. I was OK with anything that looks aggressive and menacing as an alternative to the brooding look that all other versions have. This sculpt is definitely that, and a bit different.

Plus robe too and all the other goodies. Droid wrist caller, binoculars !! Gonna be hard not to get this one !

Looks like no ankle articulation which is a pity. I guess his boot design doesn't make it easy to implement though.

So glad this went up soon after SDCC. Now to see how much it's going to cost.

It does come with the robe just not the speeder

Nice to have the option without speeder.

Angry face can look good, and not so good. Still happy to have the option.

Not such a huge fan of the separated gauntlet gloves. But I guess better to have articulation and futz the connection than have no articulation at all.
