Used to be that the only distinguishing characteristic of a DX figure was the googly PERS eyes. But if Batman really had independently moving eyes, then that theory goes out the window, since Hulk has independently moving eyes and isn't a DX.

Batman Returns did

The white knobs are how you can move the eye sockets by themselves using a device that was included. That’s why I say this method which is advertised for this’s Maul might surprise people in a positive way

DX15 Jack Sparrow is also independent eyes. I think the issues with PERS set them on a path for a better option and the independent eyes worked for Hulk and has been used since.

It still seems true that only DX gets poseable eyes, just a change in the mechanism. pretty sure Hulk gets it because of how basic a figure it is and he’s size of a quarter scale human.

Wow -- had to pick this up from the bottom of the page. Done already?

Let's recap the fixes needed:

1. no guidelines for tattoos

2. no 'laughing' Maul sculpt - gritted teeth instead

3. 'conductive tech' for the lightsaber

4. articulated boots at ankles

5. light-up drive console on Speeder beside LED engines

6. ...?

6. Mini speaker built into base that continuously plays Duel of the Fates

The ankle articulation is an easy fix. Just do what Sideshow did. Only better.

Duel of Fates theme playing from the speeder would be awesome, not gonna lie. :lol

That's actually three DXs just this year.

Don't forget earlier this year the DX15 - Jack Sparrow

What seems weird to me is the Reg DX and Deluxe DX with Maul. I thought DX was supposed to be deluxe and only deluxe, even better than deluxe. So now there's a "slim" DX...?

You make a great point, a DX release is meant to look, feel, and be special. Why have two options, probably because they know most people just want Maul. Opinion only but the $282 DX would feel very special if it had an amazing new design for lightsaber led, no wires, no special arms, just batteries and a switch or small button.

Wow....this is EXPENSIVE. Just saw this listed on UK eBay by loonentoys (usually one of the cheapest sellers) for £350.

The Emperor with his throne cost me £250. £100 less.

I'm officially priced out of the game I think.

I'm a 40-year passionate Star Wars fan, and I collect 1/6.....but don't think I would ever pay that much for a 1/6 figure, even if it was my favourite character. Even the standard release is steep for Maul.

KG Hobby is your friend, £200 for the Maul only version. £277 with the Speeder. Have to pay a 20% deposit though.

That's far more reasonable - thank you for that sir!

Was thinking the world had gone mad!

Do they post for free to the UK do you know?

The postage for the figures I've received from them has been £20. But it has arrived 3 days later from Hong Kong.

Severed LED arm confirmed.
For those with Facebook, here's a link to a new video from ACGHK. https://www.facebook.com/ToysTVhk/videos/519312548501835/UzpfSTI0NjcxMjg2ODY4NTM2MToxOTE1NjcyMzE4NDU2MDY2/ Jump to 3:45 for Maul.

Here is a screenshot I took from the video.

Man those figures are going to be well travelled. Where is this ? Asia somewhere by the look.

I guess considering they revealed the new Iron Man MkVII, there is hope for some other new announcements post SDCC....

I was beginning to wonder if they were going to include a severed saber, it seemed an odd omission
