Actually, it really doesn't, but the Mark IV is superior, I'll give you that.

And the Mk III was the ____ when I got it not even a couple years ago. Makes me ponder what I'll think of the quality of my collection (which I consider pretty good atm) not too far from now.

I think 'cheap toy' is a little harsh but you'd never think that they'd go for the same price looking at the two. (and I still think the Mark IV design is slightly inferior to the Mark III)

It is obvious that One day these pieces will be called what we call today "retro" figures. Do you think we will live enough to own little Iron Man androids talking to us from their shelves? (no kidding)

Didn't mean to offend anyone by saying that. I really think the Mark III is still a very cool piece but IMO the differences in quality (not only the design), the RDJ sculpts etc are just too noticeable.

$219 from ebay sounds about right the shipping from outside the us is about $35 or so it seems. I'm getting him from SS for $160 after using RP.

You can't look back at the old releases and pair them with modern you'll drive yourself nuts picking out the stuff that is no longer up to par.
