Looks like he/she took a soldering iron and melted them in as apposed to drilling or carving them out. It leaves that raised section around the hole.

but those are really small holes and soldering irons are too big right? to make such a small size hole?

Really? Im just going by pics alone. Im pumped for MKVI if you're sayin they look the same. Coz I've already got the original MK's I only want 1 version either IV or VI from this film (unless MKV comes along) for me, the triangle arc reactor and battle damage are the clinchers

Yeah, I was really quite impressed with both of them at the Con. Both are quite exceptional and will look fantastic together. Basically you can't go wrong with either of them.

I keep my soldering iron pointy as hell but I use it for model building so I need the sharp point. They could also heat up a needle for the really small holes.

That was a great little video. I'm tempted to give oils a try. I was an oil painter but I've never used them for modeling. May have to give it a go.

This figure is absolutely amazing! Can someone tell me if it would be possible to get this guy before christmas, preferably for less than $200 and where? I'm not too savvy on where to buy these guys outside of US distributors.

I choose this hands down. The VI was on screen for 15 min and pulverized.

On the flip side, the IV was never involved in an actual fight. It's more or less Tony's drinking suit.

Received my Mark IV today, got it from eBay the moment it got released. Was worried after OMG posted about the missing part issue, however I just unboxed this guy and there are no issues whatsoever. The paintjob is sick, really an amazing figure, the best IM from hot toys so far. The long wait was worth it!!
