razatron sorry this took so long , i work shifts and haven't touched my pc till now , i got mine from goodshipped on ebay , paid wednesday 18:00 hours , arrived saturday 09:00 hours , hong kong to uk in that time is superb , he has done the same with all my orders. i have 7 days off now so loads of time to mess with this figure.
the 1/6 figures i keep give me that lovely feeling i got when i was a child and a new toy arrived , as i walk passed them throughout the day they make me smile , that reason , for me , is why i will keep this collection going

A repeated mistake by HT (was wrong on the 1/4 Bust as well)

It's a chest repulsor (similar to Mk.5 and 3) with Mk.4's chest armour off....
As shown in the screen capture below.

not the newer ArcReactor with replaceable palladium core (before new element, triangle core). As shown below.

They could have reused the plastic used for mk.2/mk.3/bd mk.3/variants instead of producing a new one. Save the ArcReactor mould for a Tony figure.....

While I know this figure is plastic, you would never know from the pic's. I love how they really gave it the look that it is metallic, the one thing that kept me from buying War Machine. WM just looks very plastic, they should have given WM a better finish.

Not sure these have been posted before, but I got these pics from toy world. The tony stark head looks brilliant, i would like to retract my statements and say that it doesn't need any alteration.

have the same helmet?, or hottoys has sculpt a new helmet to markIv??

It's do-able with the mkIII. I don't have a mkIV yet so I don't know. Back when I got the mkIII I did a comparison of how I think the arm should be held out (top) vs how it tends to be posed (bottom).

At long last, someone noticed. About time.

I'm also currently working on some kind of rubber webbing that would cover the opening of the armpits when the fig has its arms in that precise position, as this is something that is in the movie and that really adds to the quality of the armor. It's bizarre however that it's not always there: when IM is in Gulmira for instance, he has it in the scene where he shoots at the tank but doesn't just a few moments earlier.

The waist body articulation is insane. The mechanism is out of this world, it can actually extend and retract! HT is unbeatable in all aspects. I'd be very worried if I was EB or medi

Y'know, when you stick him next to a figure with a hideously ugly head sculpt, the Downey sculpt really looks that much better.

I blame Rob Liefeld.

I like how they included the additional neck armor to go over the tony neck, so its not just his bare neck. little details like that make baby jesus smile!
