I love 1 fig per shelf, but i have to many figure for that type of setup, i need some more detolfs i think!

Yeah it works for now, while I only have six or seven figures. But over the next couple months I've got quite a few more coming. I'm gonna have to start cramming them in there. Though I do like the singular look of each shelf/figure.

I try to keep my collection at six or less, so I sell off figures as I get tired of them to make room for new ones.

We have the same taste in set up as well as characters - that's exactly how my Detolfs are setup and just awaiting figures to fill em up.

Even though others have said it, I gotta say: GREAT POSES!

Your IRONMAN pose may be the best I've seen. It's not easy to do casual poses well, and you do them perfectly!



[Edit] Oh, and great job concealing the wires too! It always bugs me to see a great display with wires hanging all over the place!

Btw, love2 your display cab. Is that from IKEA or just customized? Those lights are fantastic..nice set-up!

The Mk.IV sure does bring a lot of color to those shelves.

It's a really nice red colour. It really brightens up the detolf.

Having those lights really helps to bring the colour out.

To answer some questions:

1. Yep, they're detolfs (god love ikea)

2. I use the dioder led light strips (4 to a pack), and tape/tuck the wires under the shelving bars. Here's the catch though, you have to cut a space from one of the plastic glass wall joiners so that the wires can actually run out of the shelf from the inside bottom, or you'll have to run them out the hole in the top, which I didn't like the idea of (would leave wires hanging down). You also have to run the wires in/out before you finish building the shelf to make it work. I sorta looked at the shelving and scratched my head for a while before having a go at it. I think it turned out sharp.

the mark IV will do until the mark V arrives!

ill also be selling the base with the whips if youre interested. going to start a thread soon. still have to add some shredded racecars, and the crowd backdrop.

I think I may steal your shelf Idea. No IKEA where I live though so I will have to do online. I have a current shelf but i'm out of room. I may use the 4 shelf to just do the Mark IV, VI, V, and War Machine. I like the Mark III but just doesn't compare against those.

or i'll use the detolf for Star Wars figs and leaves me a whole shelf free for other figs to take the place.

EDIT: How are IKEA's shipping rates? do they ship big items like the Detolf?
