It says: - One (1) circular figure stage with flexible pillar and armor parts stands but nothing indicates in the pic that there are posts to hold the armor parts

Wow, these Iron man price tags are getting a bit scary. How is this armor more costly than Centurion or Heartbreaker?

That's one thing I don't get. Did the Silver Centurion just come out before Hot Toys knew how much people would pay for these secondary armors or what? That figure has the in helmet head sculpt, the blades, the battle damaged chest piece, and if you get the exclusive the Mark XLII damaged helmet but is only $250. Compared with figures like Midas, Bones, Starboost, and I think it's safe to assume that Python will be in the same range that's a bargain.

I think he looks badass, a really different design than what we have seen so far and the precursor to the mk 42. The iron legion has another member! Preorderd

I am lost as well regarding the pricing for these IM figures. The funny thing is that, in a way all the other armors can be disjointed kinda like this one.

Awesome, unique look! But this is an armor I'm going to pass on. I agree that it is overpriced.

Personally, I'm only looking forward to the "NIGHT CLUB" Black Stealth Armor and that's it.

It will be my only IM figure. That thing really looks fantastic, and I hate this line. But I can see how an IM collector would be in heaven with all this releases. These armors, while out of control, do look great. Unlike Bank Robber Joker....

Must suck on the wallet though.

Oof. That's ugly. Best thing about this armor is that I finally know what the armor in the movie looked like, as it (and many others) were hard to make out.

One reason for the price may be this: Bones is a one off. There are no other figures that use any of the parts of this armor, so all R&D for this one can only be recouped with this one release. In fact that was one reason I was skeptical we would ever see Bones, because except for Igor and 42 all the other suits have at least some parts that can be used on other figures.

And if you don't like it, hate Iron Man 3, hate Iron Man in general, hate Hot Toys for making things that are popular, we ****ing get it- don't buy it, go fill up threads for things you do like.

Like it or not the Marvel (and to a lesser extent at the moment DC) releases are what make them money. The obscure lines that people want (including myself for some of them) are probably funded by profits made off of these figures, at least in part.

i love how people come into an ironman thread jut to complain about them making figures. if you dont like scroll right past and dont click.


On the other hand, some of the shots look of especially in the upper thigh and hip area. could just be me, and the shot on the stand looks like the torso is way stretched out.

There seems to be a huge misconception about how hts only makes Iron Man and they should make (insert property). They make plenty of other stuff it just doesn't seem like its what the people complaining want. They make Spiderman, Wolverine, Thor, Terminator, Captain America, Predators, Superman, Robocop, Star Wars, Batman, G.I.Joe, Sucker Punch etc. The problem is some of these things clearly don't sell well so they stop the lines early. Why would they make things that hardly anyone will buy? I know it sucks to hear they aren't making something someone wants but that's how business goes. Plus some of these properties already had their day. Iron Man is printing them money like there's no tomorrow so why slow down now? I only really got into hts because of Iron Man and Predators so they hooked me on just those. Id like to collect other stuff but it just becomes too much. So im happy they are seeing this line through and im sure once its run its course these other people will be happy too.
