No, I wasn't expecting either of your answers and have never asked for any advice. I was just stating a QC issue, a fact. I'm just rather shocked at how some will go defend a wrong and go with the 'doesn't matter, if I get a lemon I'd jus go sell the junk to another HT c. sucker' attitude.

I've just inspected mine and it does have the misting effect on the right arm pauldron and forearm.

But until it was posted on here i didn't even notice, so it's not a big deal, it should be consistent and shiny as the other reds but HT just don't give a crap alot of the time for consistency.

You can tell it was a different paint on purpose though by the feel of it, the misting red has a more crass feel while the shiny red has a slidey feel

Unfortunately, all the pics posted so far has not shown that particular area or its in shadow, so I can't tell how typical this misting is, or if mine is just too exaggerated.

I'll take it back to richard at CSC and show it to him. Maybe by seeing it first hand he will allow me to open one and choose between the two.


Edit**Don't know how stupid i am for not thinking about it before. Went on Youtube and saw a video review with a full turn around showing that his copy looked just fine and glossy. Mine is definitely faded.
At 48, seconds it shows the area perfectly, It has the black misting for effect but glossy and you see the light reflected off it.
