My set arrived yesterday.

In a nutshell:
Chewie - Awesome, but grooming the fur is a "_____". Plan on spending an hour our two just wetting down the fur to remove that stinky spray starch on his fur.
Han - Likeness is better in hand but the boots are just angering.

Heres a few pics. The first is straight out of the box. Also, my humble collection.

^ That's actually a pretty cool display if you ask me, and the kind of thing I prefer to the detolfs. Unfortunately I don't have a counter or entertainment center that's long enough to put all my figures on. Or a room that's nice and bright like that.

Have to agree. Simple and elegant. The detolfs are really nice and convenient, but always like seeing a nice long shelf displaying these figures side by side. Something I still can't get used to with the detolf is relegating figures to the bottom when the top two shelves obviously are the best for viewing at eye level.

Looks great. :clap

That is pretty cool display, I don't even have a house. Here is how I've been displaying my collection lately. man this hobby is expensive!

I used very little water with the fur on my chewie sculpt. I used a small finishing nail to comb thru the fur that was glued together. After a little work, I was able to carefully pull the fur away from his chin and comb it down.

Plus I have him standing on the HT stand he came with and he fits in the detolf. I don't have his knees bent all that much either. However, I am going to switch to the traditional oval stands to help with space.

Yeah that's the biggest dealbreaker for me with the detolf. I prefer to have all my figures as close to eye level as possible, considering how much I've spent on many of them.

Raise the Detolf between 27" - 30" and it becomes a great display cabinet - a nice pedestal suitable for a gallery showing. A Detolf on the floor is is like a sad puppy looking for love.

Probably why I'm always shifting around my display. And to me they start to feel a bit crowded with three figures per shelf, but two per shelf looks really nice.

I'm sure my upstairs neighbor won't mind if I break through his floor. :) Stupid low ceilings--actually lately I've tried the speeder bike or tauntaun above, but it looks too imbalanced.

That bottom shelf really gets no love (definitely a sad puppy vibe for whatever figure gets pushed down there). Right now it's a snowtrooper and the e-web, which works well enough at a distance, plus the e-web needs that extra space that the bottom shelf affords.

IKEA Kitchen cabinet upper, 15" wide x 30" tall model. Put a door on it, cut it down to make it shorter, trim it using IKEA's side panels cut to size. It's a little bit of work.
