Got my Chewie/Han two pack today. Han is much better in hand and a big improvement over the prototype I saw in Hong Kong last year. But my Chewbacca, he looks like he's come straight out of the hood and he has the forehead indent. Very disappointed especially seeing the recent replacement heads. They should all look like that. I'll try and futz the fur on the weekend, but I don't think it will lighten it much.

Got mine locally so I don't think a replacement head is doable.

I have the same concern, please let know know what you find. I'm looking for something that is a bit greasy so as to add some shine back to the hair as well. And great picture!!!

I would doubt that. Mine had a patch of missing hair on his cheek next to his nose, I thought it was a chunk of hard glue but I see now that it's the underlying mesh structure that holds the hair that was showing through.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking as well. The hair on the rest of the body basically feels like, well, dirty and oily hair that hasn't been washed in a while. So whatever can duplicate that should be what we need.

The fact that Hot Toys was able to accomplish a faux fur Chewie of this caliber is truly impressive and worthy of figure of the year honors.

Is it 100%? Not exactly, but it's easily 95% "Chewbacca".
