The Secret Base figures have always looked pretty bad. It can't be the same figures that they (HT) had at the different toy fairs that we also have pictures of in the thread. The height between the figures differ a lot, can't just be the posing.

Which Chewie? The Hot Toys one in all seriousness looks a lot like this awesome home made Chewbacca costume.

Body of this is nice!!

Im not worried im sure darkening acrylic fur shouldn't be to bad. only it's head is all one shade with no dark patches. maybe is i comb the face alittle i can fix it up. Im still totally buying it i just hope this wont be delayed for 10 yrs. we all know about spiderman 1 delays

Some recent shots have looked terrible. There is a very fine line for this figure to look like a toy or a high end collectable. Do it right HT!

Not too worried about it. Full fur figures are notoriously difficult to photograph well not to mention that with the hair I am sure it will be "futzable" to some degree.......Stoked for this one, it looks amazing......

I'm still seriously tempted to order this just because it'll probably be the best and only Chewbacca figure we'll ever get (and I really, really want a 1/6 Chewbacca).... but then I take another look at that head and, ugh...

Many of you who are collecting now will be (hopefully) married in the near future -- some with children -- by the time the next version of Chewbacca comes out. You will not have the time, nor the finances, to buy the next Chewbacca... and you may not even care.

I have seen many pass through these forums on their way to real life. Few return.

So enjoy the Now. It disappears quickly.

I'm married with children and a mortgage thats why you might always read me counting my dollars on these threads. Don't mock me, just give me a pat on the back and say "thanks for hanging around"!!

That's a nice sentiment.. but I'd rather have nothing, than something that looks (by production stage) like a cat **** it out. :lol
