I thought this had been debunked - that this detail referred only to a piece of concept art which they didn't go with?

There were *confirmed* numerous reports this week that it was shot in principal photography. Of course no one knows for sure. It kinda sounds right though?

I want to order but I'm so afraid it will just deteriorate within a few years. I'm thinking of holding off and crossing my fingers they release a RotJ version with his salon hair. By that time I can see how all your ANH Chewies hold up.

No stuffed animal that's left alone deteriorates so I don't think this would be any different. The ROTJ hair would be great.

I still have stuffed animals from when I was a kid and in perfect condition. This thing will not deteriorate.

When you only plan on getting two HT figures this year (this being one of them) delays are sad. But if it helps with the final outcome what difference is a few month compared to a lifetime.

Maybe the delay has nothing to do with manufacturing, and all to do with delays in sending the shipments due to the Dock situations.

For some reason they swapped these with the stormtroopers. That is 100% clear. Everything else is speculation.
