So..... any more thoughts regarding the exciting new Hot Toys Chewbacca figure.........?
Personally, I think a great feature would be: you squeeze his foot, and he says "I RRUV ROO"

I want to order but I'm so afraid it will just deteriorate within a few years. I'm thinking of holding off and crossing my fingers they release a RotJ version with his salon hair. By that time I can see how all your ANH Chewies hold up.

No stuffed animal that's left alone deteriorates so I don't think this would be any different. The ROTJ hair would be great.

I still have stuffed animals from when I was a kid and in perfect condition. This thing will not deteriorate.

Exactly, just don't sleep with Chewie every night and drag him everywhere you go and he'll be fine.

Just wash his hair EVERY DAY with gentle baby shampoo and warm water, then style with Afro Sheen™

When you only plan on getting two HT figures this year (this being one of them) delays are sad. But if it helps with the final outcome what difference is a few month compared to a lifetime.

Maybe the delay has nothing to do with manufacturing, and all to do with delays in sending the shipments due to the Dock situations.
