I can't wait for this. I can forgive a bit of a likeness issue due to the materials, there's no excuse for Han being so far off but Chewie was never going to be perfect.

Everybody is buzzing about the new trailer- and it does look fantastic, until the very end... when it is clear to see that Chewbacca's face is CGI... utterly disgusting.

Huh? What are you smoking? We've seen pics of this Chewie costume and head before, and it's the exact same one we see in the trailer.

And it's not like they have any reason to make it CG.

I thought this was really odd as well, but I'm guessing (or hoping) is some unfinished shot.

The head does look a bit different from how it did in the OT, especially with the darker and narrower eyes.

Yeah, Chewy doesn't seem to be CGI created, but it looks like he was CGI'ed into the background of the Falcon corridor - you can see the blur lines around his outline.

What's not to like... nearly every single visual and sound is a slightly tweaked element from the classic trilogy. TIE's that are black bodied with white solar panels! Star Destroyers and Tatooine in one shot! TIE Pilots with one hose instead of two!

It's not Tatooine... It starts with a J, someone's going to have to help me out as I'm too tired to look it up now.

WRT the end of the teaser, it looks like an out-take, something put in place specifically for the purpose of the teaser, not a scene in the movie. But who knows.

So I'm guessing that Sideshow wasn't showing this figure at Celebration?

He does seem CG to me, something unnatural about his movements. Like I said, I'm hoping it's just something unfinished, or even possibly just something specifically made for the trailer.
