Really hard to photograph a big, black Vader.

Chest box size and the gloves in their entirety should have been fixed. But.... it will fit right in with Ben's face, Han's face, Chewie's... face... and Leia's dress and Luke's.... well, there will be something.

This was the best I saw it look in that video:

It hides the gloves; puts the chest box into shadow to give the illusion that it's bigger; and conceals the wrinkles at the elbows that gave the Hasbro vibe at 54 seconds.

The suit texture is more accurate than Sideshow's, but at this scale it may be too thick at the places it needs to bend.

Reminds me of a Kenner commercial! "Sophisticatedly-crafted" made me LOL.:lol

This... is something of an improvement over the proto::clap

This... feels a bit Hasbro. Maybe the licorice bodysuit thing? The capes looking a bit POTF2 12"?:(

In-hand pics FTW!

Not a fan of the stitching on the cape or the weathered effects on cheeks. I rather have an all clean Vader or an all battle damaged Vader like from the Force Unleashed, not a mix of both.

The weathering exists on the actual screen used helmet....including the blackened tusk....the only glaring difference is the anh helmet should have black eyelids not silver eyelids, that's what makes the dome look more overcast, when the eyelids are seemingly in shadow

Anyone else getting a ROTS vibe from this?

YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!

While the helmet's looking better than the proto, there really isn't much about this that looks ANH. But hey, it's been that way since day one.:dunno

The lightsaber duel at the end made me feel exactly that. :rotfl

Like when you'd bash two Kenner figures together to see which one dropped his lightsaber first and died!

I can't wait for the in-hand compare of this along with the SS Vader.

I wonder just how much better this HT one is to the Sideshow...? :monkey3

Depends if you leave the SSC DX facemask in place or swap in a Pez one to up the accuracy.:monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

My ANH eFX cast directly from the real-deal. 1:1 Scale. Bloody expensive (now)
Hot Toys 1:6... miniature toy at a tenth of the price.

Getting things in perspective... it's pretty damn good.

That whole video was very amaeturish. Lets wait for some blogger pics.

The voice and light gimmicks are pointless and only add extra costs. Seriously who is even going to use them after trying them out + the electronics will eventually break.
