Re: Hot Toys Darth Vader Sixth Scale Figure

Sure hope we see the pre-order this week. I'll save actually ordering until way closer to release (assuming no amazing SSC exclusive, which I don't think will happen... that is definitely one area where HT seems to be indulging Sideshow less and less) but would love to see these in full detail. These two will be a great anchor to any SW display and would work alone to represent ANH, if one wanted to keep it minimal. Really hoping they knock Guiness' sculpt and paint out of the park.

Re: Hot Toys Darth Vader Sixth Scale Figure

I had my vader figure shortened to scale so I don't think I need this vader. It's a good thing I'm not super **** about Star Wars like some of you. I think the last new vadar is fine once it's shrunk.

Yeah.. But. Hot Toys

Their paint will be fine, but the likeness may be open to interpretation in the end. :lol

Will play this preorder by ear. My modified SS ANH vader is absolutely stellar.

Yeah, it's funny, they nail nobody characters like Mandarin (no slight on Kingsley, just referring to the character) and Star-Lord, but not Han Solo. In regards to the paint, someone was mentioning earlier that they thought Obi-Wan's beard was too brown, so just hoping everything looks right. Paint quality itself is so consistant that I have no worries there, as you say.

Re: Hot Toys Darth Vader Sixth Scale Figure

I would love to get a 'Hot Toys in conjunction with Vader master, Hurricane, comes the ultimate 1:6 Vader' announcement. Glen knows Vader well...is he still around?
