Speaking of the trailer

What scene was the one in the dark where someone is handing someone the saber in the trailer . Because if it was Matz, that scene wasn't dark in the film. Was it when Rey had the vision dream?

Also what happened to moment where Kylo ignites the saber in the woods, didn't see that all in the movie. They (Finn and Rey ) were running in the woods and then they heard Ren's saber and then he attacked :dunno

It was MAz handing the sabe to Leia, originally she accompanied Han, Chewie and Finn to the resistance planet and gave Leia the saber but JJ decided she had no real reason to be there so they changed it.

The scene with Kylo igniting his saber was cut in the 25 mins of cuts done less than a month prior to the movie opening.

I got mine today.Amazed IMG_3246.jpg

Vader arrived today and overall its very nice. The left tusk arrived damaged though and I'm a bit annoyed about it. Is this a common flaw? I know this happened a lot on the sideshow version.

I think it's supposed to be that way

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the PT was such an utter atrocity.

You probably are sure, given how much has been said about the PT. You just don't let all that get in the way of your enjoyment of them, which is fair enough and more power to you.

I've seen Jason Baths photos and his show the left tusk as fully intact. Mine looks like part of it has snapped off.

Seriously though Mr Paramoremcr88: could you see your way clear to letting me in on the floating lightsaber 'secret' I've been scouring the net & all I can come up with is either magnetic 'force' or 'editing' I'm NOT going to be using the soundtrack features due to the nightmares that I've read about on this thread so I'd like to add something 'different' to his display if possible. Pretty please, with sugar on top.....

I'm not Mr. Paramoremcr88 but I believe he may have used invisible thread. Several people have done a similar display and I remember seeing the thread in at least one pic.

Found it:

My vader is here, one of his tusks is painted black instead of silver.....is this worth contacting sideshow about? is the piece itself silver and maybe I can just use some nail polish remover to get it silver again?

I wonder how many complaints SS or other sellers are going to get on "damaged" vaders :rotfl

Oh, and any tips on getting wrinkles out of the tunic (or any 1:6 fabrics)?

Arrived about an hour ago. Still have to do some futzing with his cape, the accessories and features. Haven't tried the breathing effect yet, but it's not really a big deal to me. This guy is really cool, the amount of detail is stupendous. I actually kind of like his ANH look with the tunic over the shoulder armor, as it gives him a darker appearance being that it obscures some of the grey in the armor. Couldn't resist putting ANH Vader in a "I find your lack of faith disturbing" pose. It just seems well...disturbing to me not doing so. :lol

Yeah it's invisible thread, I've used it for my obi wan, I got it years back from a friend, it works like a charm. View attachment 234952 I realized mine isnt as nice as the luke one, but it was my first time trying to pose it with it. It can be a little difficult

Well, ya'll convinced me. After a few days of hovering my finger over the "Pay" button I looked over at Medicom Vader (with the real crappy tattered outfit) and decided it was time for an upgrade. So stoked to get this guy into collection and... I don't know kitbash something with the old
Medi Vader I guess. Thanks for all the useful input!

On a side note, being that I haven't owned a Vader since the 1st medicom version the issue with the tatters get outfit is a non-worry for this guy, right? It is a different higher quality material that can handle posing?

From my experience, there are only a few figures in my collection that can handle dynamic poses for long periods of time without warping or damaging the suit. Even my MoS Superman has been affected by the hovering pose I've had him in for barely a year.

That said, loosely clothed figures are normally the safest. From what I can tell, The Hot Toys Vader has room for the kind of poses he would take naturally.

This.

He get's a little long winded on the TFA trailer and Luke's voice over, but what he's says regarding the PT and the anticipation of the new movie across the generations is DEAD ON. See what you think.

I would -rep if I could. That d-bag has to be the most obnoxious, annoying 'YouTuber' I've seen in awhile.

Oh, and he was wrong.

Yikes, that was irritating.
