JEZUS, I will figure this ******* camera out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LORD I SUCK!!!!

Much anger in him. The boy, has no patience..... :lol

:lol what're you trying to do?

Well, just take a pic like the ones above. When I go outside, I can snap a shot and have no problem with the figure being the main focus - as it should. But, when I go inside, and take a pic on the table (with the camera actually on the table), it soft focuses on the subject (in this case the heads and body armor) and focuses on the background (you can see my R2 salt and pepper shaker clearly)...

And now, this is not like the last time I freaked out....I promise (off to medicate).....LOL. I get a little passionate when I feel that I should know better...but this camera is winning!

And yes, I highly recommend Vyvanse for mood....it helps. LOL........Sorry guys, I am half Irish, whaddya expect?

Camera's really need light and just straight up have trouble focusing when there's less light. Some cameras actually have a focus light that shines while it's trying to figure out what to focus on. Get a bunch of lights on the subject (when you're indoors) and you might be okay.

A camera focuses on what is in the center of the frame, so you need to aim the center at one of the helmets in the foreground to focus and then move the camera to how you want to photograph the pieces.

Thanks guys...

so I need some 1000 watt bulbs and focus on the head....got it......appreciate it!

I will become a famous photographer yet...mark my words.....Someday my pictures of Potatoes will go for MILLIONS *or one million at least*

Hello guys i need big gloved hands for a custom, can someone post a comparaison pics of vaders hands next to regular hot toys hands (troopers hands for exemple)
Thanks :)

I would, but I just took like 87 pics, practicing with a lot of light and a steady hand. Auto focus on, Stabilizer on, and this was my best pic:

hand on left is from the Luke in stormtrooper gear. Right is the 'kidney stones from hell' Vader hand

Matt, does your camera show a little red dot in the viewfinder when you're focusing or about to snap a shot?

Meaning, if you hold the button down halfway does it show a red dot of what it's focusing on? Just curious if maybe outside it has an easier time seeing something in the foreground as outside there's only the one subject that you're holding and inside there's stuff nearby that it focuses on instead.

Oh, hand't thought of that.....yeah, read the book now twice. sometimes it'll have a green box on one item, sometimes two on two. . Sometimes it beeps and I think I've just hit picture gold. I seriously did not realize pic taking was this frakking hard.

Lol! Those outdoor shots are great! What are you shooting with?

Luck?

Seriously, Nikon 20.2 megapixel camera. Yeah, I've noticed outside shots are a non issue. Would explain the light idea, but inside there is a lot of light, but it does not like two objects or more it seems...

I have noticed this: when I put the subject on the bed and take a pic, it comes out good, like the nonblurry pic of hands. Light source is right over bed. When I try to shoot about a foot away on the cabinet, its blurry shot after blurry shot...
