No kidding.

Not that it's a bad thing at all because many of the mods really enhance the figure and look utterly amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a HT figure on these forums that is being modded as much as this one is.

Painting it skin color won't give the desired effect and can't be seen. The silver paint helps make any light shining through accentuate the 'eyes behind the lens' effect as well as making the amber pop. The previous pics i took i used camera flash to show the effect as it's very subtle and hard to capture. Makes such a difference. Gives a subtle color separation other than black/grey that the mask desperately needs.

Despite how good the figure looks with all the mods, I think it still looks great stock also. You can still get some pretty good images.

Finally got around to reprinting my Vaders chest armor. Also reworked the belt to get the saber clip where it should be and made a Velcro clasp in the back so I don't have to fight the buckle. Big thanks to Jazzinc and McHaleyArt for their guidance. And thanks to all the people posting their mods and showing what's possible.

I have a problem, i ordered (in december) this Darth Vader on Sideshow Webiste, and i don't have any shipping notice.... What's the problem????

Check your emails and your account on their website, but you probably just did a "pre-order". Other people are still waiting for theirs from Sideshow too.

My last flex pay is March 10th and no word on anything yet. Makes me wonder what's the hold up.

finally got him from SSC. figure box is dented. Figure was without damage thank goodness. Funny, the outer box just showed some mild denting. The figure box itself is more damaged. The tray even had a little damage. Again the figure is fine.

So just to be certain, what I hear you saying is that the box is damaged, but the figure is not damaged?

I don't think Ive gotten one pristine box in the 8 HT SW figures I ordered. I blame lazy and fat UPS men.
