Still having fun with this figure. Redid the chest a bit to give it a tad more grey. Think I am about done with my mods. Not brave enough for one or two of them. Did do: arm mod, lenses mod, etc...those are the biggies for me

lol, yup. I destroyed my first belt trying to move the boxes over, but slow and steady is the way. Glad you got it

Same here. And I was going slow and steady.

I got a new belt and just left the boxes as is. I won't risk it again unless I get another separate belt, which I'm not sure I want to spend $40 some dollars just to do that.

I replaced the velcro on his bracer since it lost its effectiveness, moved the belt up and raised the codpiece.

Nice work but no offense but hope it's just the angle of the pics but your Vader looks a little stubby now. The last shot looks like the helmet is too wide

Guys I need some guidance. I received my Vader and there is a challenge I am facing. In one of the belt boxes - the screw is so tightly stuck that it just does not rotate. The other box opened pretty much with a slight pressure but this one is stuck quite bad. Any tricks I can use to get it going.

I recommend using a small JIS screwdriver. You can buy sets of them on Amazon.

Use shiny Chrome paper, you can find some used for Origami paper -

I used shiny white paper from a Xmas now ribbon I had lying my around. Worked pretty well. Under the detolf lights I always see the tint now. Was totally black before that.

Yeah I gotta look around. I tried some flattened out aluminum foil but I think I can find something better.

So, when I first got my Vader I used the sound function. Of course the kill-switch engaged. this was two, maybe three weeks ago. I got to the switch without stripping him, flipped it and... nothing... Do I need to actually remove the batteries and put them back in before he'll work again or are the batteries dead? What a terrible design flaw. How could anyone have thought that this was a good idea?

Yeah unfortunately the sound SFX was poorly designed. Depending if you really want to hear sound effects again, from what has been mentioned. You will have to strip it down take out the batteries and check
