Oh yeah! That too. With matching floor grating base that actually supports the droid via magnetic technology newly developed by Hot Toys for this accessory. It's true.

Okay Wor-Gar, as possibly the only person I will believe rumours from, I can't tell if your being sarcastic or telling the truth? Just preordered the big guy and would love to find out they had fixed all the bugs?

No....He's kidding around. The fact of the matter is... The 'new' batch of Vaders are made out of Cake...and are quite tasty.

Not left-overs but an additional run by the same recipe. Maybe they're making another 3,000 pieces, maybe 5,000, certainly no more than that.

That's quite precise - how do you know? And do you not think they'll at least fix the electronics?

No idea to be honest. Wouldn't it depend on the franchise?

I would imagine it depends on what's "hot", if that's what you mean. Obviously they'll sell a lot more Iron Men than they will Alien Ripley.

It's actually a disappointment for me to see more ANH Vaders being made only because it simply delays the HT ESB Vader that will surface. Clearly HT has decided to push that back a bit -- hence the reissue -- while its busy with this summer's blockbusters, as they know they can revisit Star Wars every two years with the advent of the next film (not counting the one-offs inbetween).

Do you think hot toys will release a rouge one vader?

Here is my custom made Darth Vader Belt , well lets call it rebuilt Hot Toys Vader belt aye...

I replaced the cheapo weak Belt hot toys gave us. within 2 days of owning this guy brand new the flaming belt tore at the buckle.

I tried to glue the belt at the tear but it was still weaker then tissue paper.

I went to my local sewing and material store and they had rolls of thin Vynil Leather so i purchased some.

All i did was copy hot toys design of the buckle, cut a strip with an exacto knife of approx 9mm. and about the same length as the Hot Toys original.

punched a hole in the right hand side of the belt approx 1.5 cm in from the end ( check length when attaching the buckle first ) and glued the buckle socket in. I glued the square buckle on the left side. I then test fitted the slider boxes to make sure , then worked out the correct distance where the sabre hook should be. glued on some spare buttons and fit vader perfectly. i can unbuckle and pull the belt with force and it doesnt break.
