Don't understand where they're getting that price from. Considering the last SS Vader and all that he had for $249.99! And this doesn't even have an LED base.

Cause its up for order at SSC. $299 is the price

Hot Toys has clearly lost it. $300 for a Vader that looks just as good as Sideshow's. Did these two companies somehow trade places in quality? Really, you need an amalgam of both figures to have one perfect Vader. I'll just upgrade some parts from Toy Anxiety. No need to spend another $300 on a figure I basically already have.

The HK price is $243 when converted to US dollars. Sideshow usually adds an extra 10% for their cut but after they added 20% to the price of the MK 43 and Boba Fett all that's gone out the window so if they follow regular pricing it should be around $269.99 but i would bet they will put a $290-300 sticker price on this, ESPECIALLY since they are making a new batch of their Vader Deluxe for release next month and they would rather sell more of those for obvious reasons. Not to mention they have a new Vader PF coming soon. It's why grocery stores sell their own brand products for less than the competition. They will mark this up for sure

I have a feeling this figure is a big mistake on Hit Toy's part. I just do not see them hitting massive sales numbers with this. This is not making me even want to replace my SSC ANH version. Heck even the height issue is not improved upon.

I thought $250 was high for the ESB vader, and look at all the extras that had! This is too high for me to justify.

This is not the figure I imagined back when people were dreaming for HT to make SW. I am not impressed with any of the SW protos thus far. It's almost a complete fail at this price and point.

Being specific here, ANH Vader has red tinted eyes and his mask is beat to hell...it is a important feature and expected from HT. The size of the figure is just mind blowing in a bad way. The gloves are hideous..

It just all looks so shockingly wrong.
