Agree. Would be the only way for a trilogy to work. Lots of possible ideas though for him to leave though....

I hope Kylo and the trooper stick around longer than 84 days. I don't plan on preordering anything until I see the movie and truly know what I like and what I don't. I never assume something will be good. Another 'old man' mantra.

Take the Black Series. They've been selling out every week since Force Friday (Three weeks this Thursday). $20 a pop, nine figures released so far. Some sculpts are terrible - nobody cares.

I will try. But I may have a hard time finding anyone who wants to fight the Star Wars crowds on opening night. Personally, I will be sad if I don't see it opening night.

I am going opening day. That is exam week for me and I will be to tired to go at midnight. I want to enjoy the movie and be awake for it

Nothing major IMO. Maybe just trying to save a few Jedi stranded somewhere before Vader gets onto them. That would be one movie though.

I don't think there could be any story that could cover a whole trilogy and stay true to the old hermit watching over Luke ideal.

Phasma was selling for over $150 for a few days there, just insane prices. Hot Toys could be the same way after the move release.

20 bucks ain't 220 bucks though. I think that they'll go fast, but not instant sellouts. A lot of people are over preordering anyway.

If "Whiny" equates to troubled young men who kill with ease, then yes, they're all "Whiny" characters.

There is a LOT of content from the EU that could be used and tie Kenobi into it... a lot.

All could very well be tied into a trilogy. Obi-Wan found out that Vader was trying very hard to find his location, he might have thought it best to leave Tatooine as not to endanger Luke.

ROTS actually was one of the first movies we saw together when we first started dating. She even saw it a 2nd time with me.

The Rebellion is gaining strength but they need help with something that requires the Jedi finesse (spy work). Obi-Wan gets involved, kills a slew of imperial officers and Stormtroopers and learns just how powerful Palpatine's Empire has grown via some data he steals from a command ship.

That'd make a great two hours.

Also, he should never run into Vader. It should be something like Vader arrives on the Star Destroyer Obi-Wan had infiltrated and finds everyone dead. A Stormtrooper asks him "Lord Vader, who could have done this?" Vader responds "I know who, Commander."
