A bunch of members mentioned wanting the poster that was given away at Anicon. I found it on ebay for $20, shipped. It saysit the real deal. But I'd even pay $20 for a copy. He has 4 posters left. Here is the link.

Unfortunately most of these posters fell into the hands of scalpers during Anicom. They pay hundreds of people to line up over night to buy up all the exclusives and get the free posters.

As much as I want it, I'm not gonna buy this and encourage them further.

Pay hundreds of people to sell em off eBay for $20? How much they pay the people to line up overnight? $5? :rotfl

agreed. :exactly:

both regular and exclusive require a NRD and offer flat rate shipping. the exclusive item can sell for as much as $100 on ebay.

I was hoping the regular version i could pre-order without a deposit :gah: I ****ing hate deposit's.
I dont get it this is the same price as heartbreaker and that had no deposit. I guess i will have to wait a while as money is pretty tight right now.
I hate that i'm so broke i cant even pay 25$ deposit :gah:

I'm guessing they thought that Silver Centurion is expected to sell out and ultimately be more desirable (Classic armor, nostalgia, etc.), so the added NFD is to scare off would-be scalpers.

I don't think Hot Toys would purposely make less suits of this particular one. Probably the same number as Mark VII and other suits. They do have a fair bit of work ahead of them with all of these upcoming suits and probably a few more than hasn't been released for pre-order yet. But they wouldn't cut production especially since these items are all hot sellers. They would do their normal batch of "limited numbers".

I was under the impression these days that HT would put a figure up for presale, and determine how many they'll make based on sales? Sure would seem stupid not to do that, seeing as they put things on sale so far before an actual release?

Why does it matter so much to get the non-exclusive if it's the same price anyways? If you don't want the battle damaged Mark XLII helmet you could probably sell it and make a little.

Well the EX is only available from SS. SS has the most expensive price, $20 more than Cornerstore and Action Figure Xpress, and probably Toy Anxiety as well. Also although they offer the cheapest flat rate shipping, they just simply slap a UPS tag on it and ship, no additional box and packing, that's an additional $10. So $20 for shipping. Most other places do 12-14 for shipping and that's with the extra packaging.

Yes but in the end you can ultimately sell the exclusive set itself which usually sells for $50-$100 on eBay. The figure itself will also sell for more just because it is the exclusive if you decide to sell the figure down the road.

Thanks for the link. Going to pick one up. Been wanting a poster like that for a while and it's nice that the poster is pretty big in size.

Thanks for posting this,I wanted one. 47in x 25in is a nice size poster too. Ill take pics when I get mine.

:hi5:My pleasure. I got one too.:hi5:

I've bought a bunch of minimates from them many times over the years. I never had a single problem.
