I’d buy a parted out Binks head sculpt so I can have him decapitated at the feet of Vader.

I’d not only buy Jar Jar, but a TPM Anakin. Actually, a TPM C-3PO and Ani Two Pack would probably sell. Give Anakin his backpack, some tools, his racing helmet...

Unpopular opinion, but, after The Last Jedi, I decided to do something I never thought I could and forgave Jar Jar. Not going out of my way to watch TPM, but I just skip through the scenes with the podrace and enjoy the rest for what it is.

jar jar wouldn't sell. it will never be made. thankfully. his head on a plaque, yes id buy that.

a boy anakin with a work in progress threepio might sell. i could see a very select few hard core collectors get it, but not near enough for HT to justify making it.

Jar Jar would not be a character I would buy for today’s prices at $350 CAN but I do see him selling. Although not a popular character it would be a breath of fresh air to see a alien HT Star Wars figure. JJ has so many facial expressions it would be interesting which HT would select or the engineering to bring us multiple expressions.

I think Jar Jar would definitely sell; I fell like he'd be pricey with basically his whole body having to be painted, and I think they'd give him several expressions too.

I'd buy Jar Jar.

Always thought TPM had the most charm out of the prequels in part of AOTC's dullness and ROTS' preoccupation in making the entire purpose of the prequels matter.

I actually agree with this. ROTS is one of my favorite Star Wars movies...if only the other two in the PT felt like it. But TPM definitely had a charm and a sense of adventure. Exciting action scenes, cool looking aliens and a few memorable moments. The podrace is literally the worst thing ever but outside of that, it's not a bad film. I crapped on it for a while but I gave it another shot last year and it's not as bad as I used to make it out to be.

Personally I never got why ROTS was so highly regarded. It has all the same problems as AOTC, with terrible acting, overuse of CGI, and dull pacing; but also carries with it a ton of wasted time on meaningless side plots just to cram in a few more extra set pieces, and the baggage of ruining the Darth Vader story.

Only because a vocal minority seems to hate TPM.
It's an incredible movie.
Jar-Jar isn't too bad. The mistake George Lucas made(If any), was to use Jar-Jar to pimp out how far ILM's CGI department had come.
In the behind the scenes doc on the EPI disc, he says: "Jar-Jar is the key to all of this".
A lot of people assume he thought Jar-Jar was the star. All he meant was that getting Jar-Jar to look photo realistic was the key.

Yeah. It's always a "next" moment when i have the blu ray on. It makes sense in the context of Anakin's story, but could easily be left out and substituted with almost any use of the force by little Anakin(Or indeed a line of dialogue "I'm a Podracer. I've won the last 19 races for Watto"), and we could have moved on.

Different people will like different things.
I don't like every part of every film, but there are parts of each i like.
In ANH, although it's a good story, i mainly like the end battle.
In TESB, the asteroid chase/Dagonbah/Bespin scenes.
In ROTJ, the "Free us or Die" set piece, and final battle.
In TPM, because George had free reign to visualise his ideas, i love the look of Coruscant, the exploration of the Jedi, all the scenes with Qui-Gon, the design of Naboo, and the Droid Army(They were a bit less goofy than they eventually became). It's great to see what a free galaxy looked like. And the sadness of the fact that they never even realised how free they were till they gave it all away to Palpatine.
In AOTC, i only really like the Obi-Wan Storyline and the final battle, and during any re-watches, i click "next" each time Anakin and Padme are on screen.
In ROTS, i can watch the whole thing pretty much. I'm not saying it's my fave. But there's always enough good stuff that i don't really skip any of it during re-watches.
I wish that more people understood that Padme doesn't die of a broken heart, or having lost the will to live, and that it was Sidious, siphoning off her life to give to Vader.

There's a podcast called Blank Check, the premise is to review every movie of a director who eventually was given a 'blank check' to do whatever he wanted and see how his career progressed.

Anyway the podcast started out as literally reviewing TPM, AOTC, and ROTS in extreme detail, 10 hour long+ episodes for each movie lol. The bit for them was that they acted like the OT never existed, and watching them in a vacuum. The guys are fans as they were kids when those movies came out and they do crap on it a lot (one guy is an actor and the other is a film critic), but I still enjoyed the deep dives into each movie.

Anyway, but the end I was surprised I guess when they both ranked them in order of how much they liked them, going TPM, then AOTC, and then ROTS last. For years basically I've been hearing online how AOTC is garbage and ROTS is best, so it kind of threw me off guard.

Look, I'm willing to be open minded about the PT and listen to people's opinions on it. Especially since I hated the ST except for TFA. But putting ROTS as the worst of the PT? That's straight lunacy. AOTC genuinely is a bad movie. Anything without Obi-Wan it in is a terrible scene. If those guys want to say they enjoyed it, fine, good for them, but putting it ahead of ROTS? That's the worst take I've ever heard about Star Wars.

ROTS is one of my favorite ST films and I like ATOC a lot too but TPM is hard to watch. Love the Jedi story line but some of lil ani lines and Jar Jar :slap
Really looking forward to having Qui Gon and Obi Wan on the shelf with Darth Maul.:yess:

Lunacy?
Don't get bent out of shape.
It's just an opinion, lol.
When you like something, it's not an attack on you when someone likes something else.
ROTS has some awesome moments, and it's a great movie, even taken on it's own.
I have a soft spot for TPM and like it best, even though i like parts of AOTC and ROTS too.
But the fact that i rate TPM above ROTS isn't lunacy. It's opinion.

While I strain very hard to find anything to like about AOTC, I strain just as hard to find anything likable about ROTS. For me they are pretty much equal in quality.
