While I strain very hard to find anything to like about AOTC, I strain just as hard to find anything likable about ROTS. For me they are pretty much equal in quality.

After rewatching recently I tend to agree. I was surprised how that I thought Obi-Wan's scenes away from Anakin were eh and just bad sometimes.

Jar Jar would be an instant order...egads! whas a meesa saying!

Of the prequels, TPM is my favorite overall. Some of that is nostalgia and buildup for years of the release, some of it is darth maul, it certainly has parts in not a fan of, the pod race, neimodians, and the plot.

ROTS is better than AOTC but if I'm being honest I was so disappointed by AOTC I didn't even try to watch ROTS in theaters. I do like the christening of vader scene though.

Bring Jar Jar on! The same with Little Ani and his podracer. Jar Jar is a cool Star Wars alien design, it's not like it'll have a voice feature. Personally, I learned to accept Jar Jar years ago. He was a character created with good intentions that just didn't work out as planned. The character did work well enough in Clone Wars. There are far more dislikable characters in Star Wars, i.e. Rose Tico and L3-37.

I've always thought that jar Jar would make a visually striking figure.

Can't wait for Qui-Goan and it would be cool to have Jar jar to display with him.

Jar-Jar as a figure is not much of a problem. He's visually kind of interesting and was a main character. Jar-Jar talking and babbling and stepping on poodoo is the problem.

I never understood the Jar Jar hate. Few throw away lines, he helps the heroes, his goofiness, kindness, and wanting to be liked and seen as an equal was manipulated by Palpatine when he gave him emergency powers, a huge step in creating a galactic empire. Tested Qui-Gon’s patience and an embodiment of the idea of a living force while doing the “anybody can be a hero bit” much more subtle than what Disney did by destroying the Skywalker Saga. Jar-Jar and his role in the movie is deeper than anyone gives George credit for. It’s such a cop out answer to say he ruined the film.

Especially when nobody wants to talk about how big of a joke ROTJ is with the Ewoks. They beat an army that conquered the galaxy with literal sticks and stones. I could punt those things 20 yards and take them all down myself, but they beat an entire army? Even the Gungans lost! It was an utter joke. Yet, doesn’t even get hate.

I love it all.
The Ewoks even took down our heroes, lol.
But it reminds me of a quote from spaced.

Bilbo: “What about the Ewoks? They were rubbish. You never hear anyone complaining about them”

Tim: “Jar-Jar makes the Ewoks look like *****ing Shaft!”

It might be my childhood memories biasing me, but I do think the Coruscant chase is decently cool and the Kamino stuff is okay. Though the scene where Obi goes off the edge with the wire around his wrist always takes me out of it because at that tension whatever galaxy far away metal they use would have sheered straight through his hands lol.

Jar-Jar is such a "jarring" character that I would definitely want him in my collection.

The Ewoks were cringe-worthy but the over-arching story kept one moving onwards. So as bad as they were, the quick cut-backs to Luke/Vader/Palpatine helped save the film and kept the enjoyment level high.

With Jar-Jar, he was beyond cringe-worthy but unfortunately, the story wasn't as strong and his ridiculous scenes just brought the film down even further.

Jar-Jar is one of the few things about the prequels that has actually grown on me over time. He's still a bit too cartoonish, but is one of the only characters with any kind of life or lightness about him in those movies, who isn't taking everything so... damn... seriously.

Po’d mine today. 3 months flex with SS. Couldn’t resist after getting obi wan, Anakin, Dooku, Yoda, Darth Maul.

If Qui-Gon ends up having a cameo in the Kenobi series, which he more than likely will, then this one could become a much sought after figure in a year or so. Those dragging their heals on it now may regret it in future.

I'm convinced. You just convinced me.

I bet everything is delayed indefinitely soon. No chance risking lives in hk. This guy may not get released in the states until fall.
